He didn’t seem very happy about it, and now a small bout of guilt was creeping in, making her feel bad for making him regret killing the bug to that degree. Sure, he deserved to feel a little bad about it, seeing as he’d sat on a perfectly normal and healthy caterpillar, thus ending its life, but he hadn’t meant to do it, and she got the impression that he would have done anything to try and rectify the situation. But, the sad truth of the matter was that neither he, nor she, could do anything. The deed was done. It was sad, more than sad, but it was done. If she had been the religious sort, she might have prayed for the caterpillar to live, but not only was she sceptical of the existence of any deities, but she also doubted it would work. “I wouldn’t tell!”
she answered, feeling a kind of inner disappointment that he would ever think this of her. Sure, she’d told people what he’d done... er, a few times, make that countless times, but she wouldn’t have told anyone else about this. “I don’t want to be your accomplice,” she stated, as though her reasons for being quiet were obvious. If he was sure he would go to jail, maybe they’d make her go as well. That would be horrible. She was only little. She hadn’t even done anything! At his admission that he had no idea what an atmosphere was, she blinked, not quite believing him. Was this just one of the many tricks he tried to play on her? Getting her to say that she didn’t know what an atmosphere was clever, because then he could laugh, claiming that he had known all along. Frowning at him, she couldn’t stop herself from needing to ask for further confirmation of his previous sentence, just to check that it wasn’t a joke at her expense. “You don’t know what an atmosphere is?” Had it not been for her surprise that he was the one giving in yet again to her, she would have placed another smug expression on her face, learned from copious hours of studying her father, of course. “And you’re soooo not cooler than me,” she argued, her childish like for arguing kicking in once again. Truthfully, she believed that she would win any argument between the two of them, because she was better at it. Or it might have been that she was the stubborn one. But it was probably the first. “Special normal so does exist” she said immediately, unable to believe that he was so certain that he was proceeding to mock her about what she’d said. Was she wrong? Was there actually a thing as special normal? There had to be. She was an example of a special normal person. “It’s the opposite of normal special, which you are.” Yes, special normal had to be real, because there was definitely such a thing as normal special, right? She refused to believe that Chris knew something that she did not. She laughed, clearly not believing his future career as a knight. “You can’t ride horses, ‘cause you’re too fat, remeberer?” Maybe she’d make a good knight. Wait, maybe? There was no doubt, she could do any job. A knight would be easy, because all you had to do was make dragons go away. That didn’t sound all too difficult. “Princesses are stupid” she replied, dismissing his claims about marrying one in the future. “When I get older, I will be Queen of the Universe, that’s better than being a boring princess.”[/blockquote][/blockquote] tagged little christopher weasley. word count some amount of words. and the outfit click here to see.all i have to say ah, childhood, i miss it!

Chris did actually feel guilty, it was fading though now, he knew it was only a caterpillar but he wasnt even sure if you went to jail for killing caterpillars, plus it was an accident, maybe they would give him last time if they knew it was an accident and not actual murder. He honestly didnt have a clue on what you got sent to prison for, he thought it was for doing very naughty things.. killing something was naughty but if it was an accident then would it count? "Thanks Jas" he said hugging her then letting go and smiling at her, he liked Jas, she was ok for a girl.. obviously he wouldnt let her know that, because that would have been way to icky. "Your not an accomplice, your a witness" he said with a nod, witnesses just watched people perform naughty things and didnt get tolled off at all.
Chris blushed Maybe Jas does know what an atmosphere is and she knows more about stuff then me he thought, well she probably did she had more books and stuff then he did, he spent his time playing and messing about when she would read or something. "i dunno what they are" he confirmed then asked "Tell me?" he wanted to know, he was curious now. "I am cooler then you!" Chris stated Jas was the better arguer but only because she was the more stubborn one and Chris was highly impatient when it came to stuff, he wanted to do a different thing every single minute whilst Jas could stand there arguing about one thing for ages. "Im stronger as well" Chris said then to prove it he picked Jas up, he held her in the air for about a second before the weight got to much and he fell backwards onto the floor.
"Owch.." he stated then burst out laughing, it wasnt the fact he'd hit the ground that hurt it was the fact Jas had landed on him. "well.. i'll ask my mom later if Special normal esists as girls are apparently better at everything according to you" Chris stated he was fairly sure special normal didnt exist but of well there was no harm in asking his mom. "Im not fat!, im normal, your thin because your a girl.." Chris stated he wasnt fat then he gasped, Jas was going to be the queen of the universe, that wasnt fair at all, he wanted to own the universe.. "Can i be the king?" he asked her curiously, if she was the queen she could make him the queen couldnt she... he wasnt exactly sure how kings and queens worked. They just seemed to be two people who sat on thrones telling people what to do. Cmon, im talking to you. Wearing: Outfit Comment: I still act like a child. Although she was now trying to convince her companion that the death of a caterpillar did not usually cause people to arrest you, a small part of her was comforted by the fact that it wasn’t her who had sat on it. She didn’t think it would end in that much pain or trouble for him, but something inside her did not like the idea of ending someone’s life. It was a little bit creepy. She didn’t know if she could personally live normally with that knowledge. Sure, it was an accident, but Chris seemed like he’d cope much better than she would. Obviously if she thought he’d end up in jail or having loads of problems as a result, she wouldn’t let him think that what he did wasn’t that bad. She wasn’t that mean towards him. “No problem, Crisp.”
She laughed, using a name that she had originally believed to be the boy’s name. “I don’t want to be either, so I’ll bury him, and everyone will be happy.” It was strange how she was picking up such weird sayings from her parents already. They probably wouldn’t remember the caterpillar’s unfortunate event when faced with something more exciting anyway. Or so she wanted to believe. “Haha, you blushed like a girl,” she laughed, pointing at his heated pink tinge to his face. The truth was that despite all her front and explanations, she clearly had no more idea what an atmosphere actually was than the next eight year old. Clearing her throat importantly, she turned her face to face her friend’s. “An atmosphere is a place where moths live, I think.” It had to be, because she couldn’t think of what else it would be, and it just made sense, using her childlike logic. “Because it’s an atmothspere, right? So it only makes sense that moths live there.” Yes that had to be it. It just worked. She couldn’t imagine that she was wrong now. Even though she was sure that she had now come up with the right answer, she felt the need to correct his impression that she had known what an atmosphere was. “Aright, I didn’t know what an atmosphere was, I just wanted to tease you.” This had to be a first, with her willingly admitting that she was pretending to know something that she had no knowledge about. If she were he, she would have been grateful that she was opening up to him like this. It was a once in a lifetime sort of offer. It was a slight surprise when she found herself being picked up by someone near enough her size, but even more surprising when they both ended up on the floor. Her eyes widening, before she collapsed in a fit of giggles, she eventually managed to pick herself off the grass, just in time to hear his next words. “You do that,” she replied, trying to remain expressionless, while making a note to ask his mother before he got there, thus confirming her claim. “Of course girls are better. Girls are the best at almost everything.” Even if she didn’t know what many words meant, she was sure that girls were better at many things. This was clear by how smart her mother was. Apparently her mother was far too clever, according to other adults, but she had no idea what that meant. How could anyone be TOO clever? “And of course you can be the king!” She answered his question, smiling smugly at him. “If you don’t mind getting married to me. Everyone knows the king and queen are in love and married.”[/blockquote][/blockquote] tagged little christopher weasley. word count some amount of words. and the outfit click here to see.all i have to say ah, childhood, i miss it!

As worried as Chris was that the caterpillar accident could get him sent away for ages he still laughed when Jas called him Crisp, Jas used to call him crisp thinking it was his name.. Chris never even realised she was actually saying crisp he just thought she couldnt say his name right. "Ok we'll berry him" Chris said then began looking around the garden. "You knew him better.. where do you want to berry him" he asked, she must have some place in her head, like the caterpillar's favourite spot or something. Chris didnt know but it had to be somewere he could dig into easily without Jas' mother moaning at him for ruining her garden or something.
"Well you are a girl!" Chris said, that was his amazing comeback to Jas saying he was blushing like a girl.. actually the more he thought about it the better insult it became as she had said he was blushing like a girl as if it was a bad thing so she was kind of saying girls were bad, or at least that's what he thought she was saying, he wasnt exactly sure on that one. Chris scratched his head and said "But i thought Moth's lived in wardrobes.. they eat your clothes.. i have tiny holes in some of my stuff.. its annoying" he said frowning slightly he didnt like having tiny clothes in his clothes. Although when Jaslene admitted not knowing what atmospheres were he smiled. "Your admitting you dont know something?" he asked her questioningly he had never heard her admit she was wrong before, he liked it, he had always known jas was the smarter out of them both but it was nice to know there was stuff that she didnt know.
"Girls are not better at everything! boys are better at sporty stuff like Quidditch" Chris said with a nod, even at his age he could handle a broom with ease. Chris then smiled when she said he could be the king but it didnt last long "Are you asking me to marry you?" he asked tilting his head to one side, he wasnt exactly sure if he wanted to get married yet but it would be worth it if he was king of the universe. "I thought the man was meant to ask the girl to marry him.. and they had to have rings and stuff .." he said with a shrug, he wasnt sure he'd seen his parents wedding in a pensieve but that was about all he had on the understanding of it. "Plus they have to kiss.." Chris didnt like the thought of kissing Jas.. but to rule the entire universe.. that'd be worth it. Cmon, im talking to you. Happy with the slight alteration in his expression, at the mention of her keeping quiet, as long as the caterpillar was buried properly, she nodded, the same reassuring smile appearing on her face. “Yeah, I have the best ideas,”
she laughed, not willing to look past the fact that she was the one coming up with all the inspiration for resolving the situation he had fallen into. It was a strange feeling to be enjoying laughing, especially after someone had just died, but the one comforting thought was that insects such as caterpillars did not generally live as long as people, or elephants, so maybe it was an old bug anyway. As she glanced back at the dead animal, small flickers of his life appeared in front of her eyes, making her smile again, remembering the time they had spent together. It seemed like only last week that her mother had demanded that she no longer placed the insect next to their dinner table, or that her father criticised it for ruining his garden. The one thing she was grateful for was that it hadn’t been her cat or owl that he’d accidentally killed. Especially the owl, because burying the family owl was something, which looked more suspicious, and the family would probably miss it more, seeing as there would be an obvious lack of post going from or to their house in the future. Fortunately, it had not been the owl. Seeing his reaction to her insult of his blushing, she laughed. Truthfully, his blushing was anywhere near as bad as she had made it out to be, and had it been anyone else but her standing next to him, they probably wouldn’t have noticed. But, when one had a friend like that, it was your job to insult them as much as possible, but in a truly friendly and loving way. “Obviously I’m a girl, duh, Chris.” Surely he had realised that they were of the opposite gender before now. Sure, she didn’t always think of him as being a boy, as she knew him too well. Well, she did think of him as a boy, just a different type of boy to the others that she knew. Noticing his unsure expression, she began to reconsider her answer. Maybe he was right, and dare she think it – she was wrong? But even if an atmosphere didn’t contain moths, it ought to. Why make such a misleading name? “Maybe..” she began, before becoming more excited as more ideas popped into her head. “Maybe the wardrobe is where trained house moths live, but the wild ones come from the atmothspere?” Frowning at his question, she remembered that she had openly said that she didn’t really know. Was that wise? She couldn’t say she knew everything now. Oh well, he would have realised eventually. “Yeah, but obviously it’s just because I don’t care about atmothsperes.” It never failed to make her laugh how offended he got when she claimed that girls were better at almost everything that a person could do. “Girls just pretend to be bad, so the boys can feel they are good at something,” she replied, as though the reason for men generally outshining in sports was thoroughly due to women allowing them to be better at something. It was no lie that Chris was much better at flying than her, but she attributed this to the small amount of time she had spent practicing. She wasn’t terrible, like her mother had been, according to her father who always found it incredibly funny to discuss with her mother. But she didn’t have the natural flying gift like some people did. Still, she had years to learn if she wanted to. Turning her attention away from her thoughts in order to focus on his next question, she nodded, agreeing with what he had said. “Men are supposed to do the marrying, but I can do it if I want, cause women are just as good as men, so anyone can ask anyone to marry them.” She breathed in, before carrying on, at the same fast tempo. “Cept like men asking whales or giraffes to marry them, cause that’s too weird!” It didn’t seem that bad, having to kiss and be in love with Chris, at least they got along well, but she had another major problem concerning it. “I’m never marrying, it’s stupid.” [/blockquote][/blockquote] tagged little christopher weasley. word count some amount of words. and the outfit click here to see.all i have to say ah, childhood, i miss it!

Shout, Shout, Let it all out.
These are the things i could do without
Chris couldnt argue with the fact that Jas was better with idea then him, she was he always had stupid ideas, she was the brains and he was the brawn that was just how it was with both of them, she'd tell him what to do and he'd go do it. Chris liked doing what Jas said though it was like he was being sent on missions plus his father had told him once if a girl asks you to do something it was best to do it most of the time, plus the reward wasnt that bad some of the time. Chris wasnt sure what reward his dad was on about but he wanted whatever it was so he tried to do most stuff girls asked him to do.. obviously some of the stuff he would refuse to do because it was stupid.
"Well, how do i know your not a boy!?" Chris questions sure he would get her here, he knew the difference between girls and boys was that boys had a.. thingy but she was hardly going to show him she didnt have one, so there was nothing else that realy identified girls except the fact they had boobs but Jas was hardly old enough to have boobs yet, Chris's man boobs were probably bigger then hers. "Well that makes sense" Chris said with a nod about the wild moth's living it atmosphere's and the house trained ones living in wardrobes. Chris smiled when she said she didnt care about atmospheres. Chris wrapped his arms around her in a hug. "Thanks Jas" he said then let her go, she had in a way showed that she at least liked him a little bit as she had been comfortable enough to admit she didnt know something.
"Well when your done pretending I'll challenge you to a game of Quidditch" Chris said smirking. He knew she wasnt predefining it was just another one of Jaslene's classic lies. Chris nodded as he found out he was right about guys asking girls to marry them, that made sense to him, guys clearly were the ones who had to protect the girls from Dragons and stuff so it made sense they decided who to protect. Chris nodded as Jas said asking a whale or a giraffe to marry you would be weird "Yeah.. super weird". Chris would marry Jas, i mean if it meant he could be king of the universe. He'd slay a dragon for Jas anyway because she was like his bestest friend ever and he'd never actually kissed someone so he wasnt sure what it was like but if it was easier then slaying a dragon he'd try it. Chris had decided he wanted to be king of the universe so was about to ask Jas to marry him when Jas said she was never going to marry as it was stupid. "Oh.. ok" Chris said unsure what else he could say, there goes his king of the universe title. Cmon, im talking to you. Wearing: Outfit Comment: I still act like a child. Hearing his question, she pouted instantly, not even saying anything, but simply giving her automatic response to this question. Since it was he asking, she wasn’t entirely sure whether he was joking, to prove a point, or whether he was genuine in the curious tone used in his line of inquiry. She wasn’t completely confident with how best to answer this, and she was sure that this was the response (or lack of) that he would be expecting. But then, would any girl have responded to this query any differently? It was a bit offensive to be asked to prove your gender as though he had some authentic reason to doubt the testimony and evidence given by everyone they knew. Giving him her best evil stare that she could muster, she eventually found her voice, after a few moments of silence had passed between them. “Isn’t it obvious that I’m not a boy?”
she exclaimed, as though his words had been significantly more offensive than they had actually been. “What proof am I supposed to give you? You should just accept that I am a girl.” There was no other way of proving that she was a girl, that she could think of, off the top of her mind, short of running around naked on the lawns, but something told her that this wasn’t a good idea. Best to steer clear of that type of proof. Nodding, as he accepted her reasonably well thought out explanation of the difference between the locations where various types of moths could be found, she grinned. “I’m going to test my idea by searching the atmospheres later,” she declared suddenly, saying the words as soon as they came into her head. As she continued with the prospect of proving her theory to be correct, she pointed at the boy beside her excitedly, “You can come with me if you want?” It wasn’t often that she thought of something to do other than activities that she enjoyed, but Chris found boring or uninteresting, so this mission probably sounded a lot more exciting to him and most likely appealed to him more. “We will have to go to my granddaddy’s house first though, as my mum says there’s a big awkward atmosphere over there.” She had never understood what her mother had meant when she kept reminding her husband of this fact, but now it all seemed to make sense. And if there was such a big atmosphere over there, it seemed by far the best place to start searching for the wild moths. They were much more likely to find moths in a bigger atmosphere than the smaller kinds. “Quidditch?” she repeated, enunciating each syllable of the word as though she could not comprehend it, or whatever meaning it was supposed to correspond to. She didn’t hate Quidditch, however it might have seemed, but she had never shared the same love for the sport, or even for the mere act of flying, unlike her father. And as such, the one major drawback of being friends with Chris was that he was in love with it. This meant that despite her moaning, whining and prolonged complaints, she occasionally was coerced into playing a game with him. “Yeah, that sounds great,” she started, sounding just as enthusiastic as she really was. Being eight, she hadn’t quite mastered the ability to make herself sound like she liked something that she hated. “And I’m not pretending anything, I always tell the truth.” That was such a stupid sentence really. Nobody saying that was telling the truth. It was impossible to go through life without ever telling a lie. And nobody believed that any person was capable of always telling the truth. “Maybe you can find a princess of the universe and marry her?” she offered, sensing his slight disappointment at her proclaimation.[/blockquote][/blockquote] tagged little christopher weasley. word count some amount of words. and the outfit click here to see.all i have to say ah, childhood, i miss it!

Chris laughed as he saw her pout, typical Jas if she was slightly offended by something or didnt know how to answer something it was what she would do worst thing is it would strangely work. First Chris would laugh, then he'd suddenly feel kind of guilty in himself then he'd just tell her it didnt matter. "It doesn't matter.. i trust you" He told her with a smile he'd always fall for it, she looked cute when she pouted and she was realy close to him so he'd do a lot of stuff for her, he wouldnt let her know though because she would take advantage to it and make him do stupid stuff which he wouldnt do at first unless she actually needed him to do it. Anyway he knew she was a girl, no guy could be as girly as her, every guy liked quidditch in one way or another and her room was way too girly for her to be a guy.
Jaslene then suggested something that actually sounded fun for once, it wasnt something stupid like the usual stuff like reading or picking flowers or some other girls stuff she'd come up with. "I'll come!" he exclaimed with a smile, he wasnt missing out on the one possible cool thing that Jas would ever ask him to join with. "Your grandad on your moms side.. or your dads?" he asked curiously, he liked Hermione, she was nice but Draco was scary, Chris had not met Jas' grandparents yet but he didnt imagine Draco's dad being nice at all. "How can an atmosphere be awkward?" he asked curiously, he didnt get it, usualy people acted awkward, or at least thats what his mom told him a lot.
"It's ok if you dont want to.." Chris said scratching the back of his neck, he wasnt going to make her do anything she wanted to do, he knew she wouldnt make him do anything he didnt want to do.. or at least she would give up eventually and then claim she didnt want him to do it because she wasnt that mean or something. "I tell the truth more then you! and that's saying something.." Chris exclaimed, he knew he lied a lot but he was fairly sure Jas lied more plus Chris wasnt afraid to admit he lied. "If your the queen wouldnt the princess be your daughter.. EWWW EW EWW EW EW!!" Chris said then shuddered rather fakely. He did not like the thought of being with Jas' daughter, she'd be like realy realy realy realy little whilst he'll be a big strong man, it would just be plain wrong. Cmon, im talking to you. She was young, it was true, but she had already figured out that pouting worked wonders for her, in terms of getting whatever she wanted. She had also worked out that this technique was especially effective when faced with a person of the opposite gender. How else did one explain how easily she managed to get her father’s attention and him to buy her so many things that her little heart desired? It made sense. Not that much she did made anything but sense to her. Apparently this didn’t necessarily mean that it made sense in reality, but how was she supposed to know that much? She was only eight, and life seemed far too easy for her to think back upon the consequences of her actions. Besides she didn’t need to wonder about what might happen, because one of her parents always took it upon themselves to lecture her about the impacts afterwards. If they were going to do that, why should she waste her time doing it also? “Would you trust me if I said I was an alien?”
she asked, raising an eyebrow, but unable to stop herself from laughing even as she posed the question to him. That made her statement seem all the less likely, but who knew? He’d believed her reasoning about the moths easily, and she wasn’t even sure that she was right. Maybe he’d believe that she was an alien from Jupiter as well. Noting his expression change, she could tell that he was just as excited by the prospect of moth hunting as she was. It was probably a surprise to him that she was as eager to go hunting for strange flying creatures, instead of browsing through her house’s large library for yet another book to read. Her eyes widening for a few minutes, as he replied at such a fast pace, that she struggled to understand what he was saying. But having known him for the majority of her life, she could have easily guessed what he was saying, even if she happened to lose her hearing. His answer to her question was obvious. He always ran off, exploring random locations, usually ending up worse for it, but nonetheless still continuing to do the same thing repeatedly. The only difference was that this time, he’d have some company. And perhaps the fact that there was an actual purpose behind the wandering around random places, other than the pure entertainment factor. “Did you bring the supplies?” she asked, rather importantly, feeling superior for having thought up the idea. She wasn’t about to walk off, not having the bare necessities however, that would be foolish. Especially as nobody was used to dealing with the wild moths, what if they were rather vicious? She would need stuff to protect herself with. With these supplies, nobody could beat her at anything. She was more than capable of looking after herself, even if her parents tended to disagree. “My daddy’s father obviously,” she answered immediately, dismissing his wary tone, not choosing to ignore it deliberately, but simply not noticing it in her excited phase. “But, it might be hard to find the atmosphere, because Mum says it’s there all the time when she’s around, but Daddy never notices it.” She had never been able to work this one out. Did the moths hide and disguise their environment from her father, or did you have to have some sort of special ability to see it? “So, it might be that only girls can see it.” She wasn’t entirely sure what they would do, if she were correct, and males couldn’t see the atmosphere. Because that made it much more difficult for Chris to help her explore the area, because not only would it seem invisible to him, but it would make everything pointless, as he would simply have her word to choose to believe or not. Glancing back at him, she laughed again at his question. “Not my princess, silly. Another princess. Although I am the Queen, I’m sure there are other princesses around.”[/blockquote][/blockquote] tagged little christopher weasley. word count some amount of words. and the outfit click here to see.all i have to say ah, childhood, i miss it!

Chris shook his head laughing "No dont be silly, your not an alien.. aliens come from space so they must like to fly around a lot and you dont like to fly at all" Chris said with a nod it didnt make any sense Jas being an alien, but it would have been cool if she was, way cooler then just being a girl. Chris kind of wished Jas was an alien, then his best friend would be an alien and they could fly in a spaceship together and go to other planets then maybe one day they would meet other aliens and help defend planets from evil aliens, it sounded amazing.
"The supplies?" Chris questioned then paused a moment then began rummaging through his pockets pulling everything out onto the floor. After his pockets were empty he said "Well we have a tissue, a packet of gummy bears.. one two.. three stink bombs and a button" Chris then looked up at her wondering if it was enough, it probably wasnt. "I'm sure there's stuff in your room we could find that would help us" Chris said with a nod, he liked it in Jas' room.. sure it was way too girly but it always smelt nice... like Jas but it was easier to smell in her room. Plus it was much more comfy then his room.. his room had stuff all over the floor and it was hard to find somewere to sit down that was comfy other then the bed which sometimes had stuff on it as well.
Chris gulped to himself silently, he didnt exactly want to go to Draco's fathers, Draco was scary enough. "Ok.. right.. obviously" Chris said covering the fact he was slightly scared but being scared was all a part of the adventure, who explored new places without being a bit scared.. ok Chris usualy but it was better if you were scared you were more ready for stuff to happen. "Ok.. so.. i wont be able to see it?" Chris said with a little sigh, that would make things harder and confusing. But he wasnt just going to not go with her, this was like the first time Jas had ever wanted to do something the slightest bit cool. "Oh.. but if your the queen of the universe, your the queen of everywhere meaning there's no other queens.. and if there's no other queens then there'd be no other princesses" chris pointed out actually using his brain for once, it was a huge important thing as Chris wanted to someday be a king or at least to have a wife who looked like a queen and acted like one. So, he obviously didn’t believe everything she said. Whilst this was somewhat disappointing from her perspective, she didn’t honestly think that she could tell him anything and he’d believe it without question. Besides, she was just as naïve about some things as he was, being the same age as him. He’d probably told her loads of things that weren’t true, and she’d just taken his word, as it was the only word she had. Her mother had told her repeatedly not to believe what Chris said, as he had an overactive imagination. She didn’t see much wrong with an imagination; surely it was a good thing? But then, Chris often ended up in trouble, as did she whenever he came up with a ‘good idea.’ She couldn’t even guess why he was sceptical of her claim; she could have easily been an alien. How many eight-year-old girls acted the way that she did? “I am too an alien. I come from the planet…Zoog”
she concluded eventually. Why did she always have to hesitate slightly before making something up? Her parents could spot it instantly, and it was pointless to even try, yet she still felt the need to convince her friend that she wasn’t born on the same planet as he was. “My skin is pink, really, you just can’t see it, because I cover it with stuff every morning.” Yes, she was an excellent storyteller. Not. “Yes, the supplies,” she repeated, not needing to think about it, merely repeating what she had said the first time. She had never watched a film where the people went off on an adventure without some basic supplies. Otherwise they ended up dying or other weird and nasty things happened to them, merely because they didn’t bring some string. Inspecting the contents of the boy’s pockets, she sighed, and rolled her eyes in the same important tone. “Don’t you ever have useful stuff on you?” she asked, helping herself to the packet of gummy bears, as she surveyed them. Brushing herself off, she turned her head when she heard his remark about her own supplies. “How do you know that I got supplies?” she asked, rather suspiciously. It was always a possibility that he could have guessed, based on the look of the rest of the house, but that sounded like he’d been searching through her drawers and cupboards. Since the people living inside her house were so used to Chris organising something that would preoccupy them both for ages (since he usually managed to persuade Jas to tag along), they could probably walk in, and walk out again in about ten minutes, with everything they needed. A simple visit to the kitchen would result in the house elf laughing and preparing ‘the usual.’ Was that some sign of fear that he was showing? No, that was stupid. Why would he be scared of a normal man, but not forests full of magical creatures? Of course he wasn’t scared, she’d never seen him properly scared, excepting at the start of the conversation, when he thought he would have to go to jail. But that made sense. Everyone was scared of that. There was nothing scary about her grandfather, except his cold tone sometimes. It was true that there were some similarities between him and dragons – both had probably killed a fair few people, but her grandfather was a changed person now. That was in the past and he’d made mistakes. She considered his question, thinking about all the different odds. “I don’t know,” she began, being completely honest again, all superiority forgotten in the heat of the moment. “It could be being a man, being of a certain age, having blonde hair, loads of things.” Since she wasn’t entirely sure what it was that her mother had that her father did not, she couldn’t name one factor as the one which decided whether you could see atmospheres or not. And there was no point building up his hopes, if she turned out to be wrong. “The other Queens are ones just below me in importance,” she replied, rather matter-of-factly. Shout, Shout, Let it all out.
These are the things i could do without
Chris scratched his head. "Your not an alien... and threes no such thing as planet Zoog" this time he was nearly one hundred percent sure Jas was lying, even if it would have been amazing to have a friend that was actually an alien. "There's nothing on you" Chris dismissed and too her hand and rubbed the back of it with his thumb. "See.. nothing came off" Chris said with a nod, he didnt give her the hand back though not just yet he expected her to come up with something like it would only come off if you set it on fire or something stupid and Chris would be ready.
"Well sorry if i knew we were going on some grand adventure i would have got better supplies" Chris said rolling his eyes, he didnt exactly have great stuff on him as he had just been expecting a trip to Jas' house and he thought he'd probably end up sitting there as Jas read to him which is one of the things they usualy did. Chris actually didnt mind Jas reading to him as much as he made out he disliked it, she had a nice voice and sometimes if the characters spoke she'd put on a funny voice and the books were sometimes actually interesting. "We always end up getting at least one thing from inside and your room is full of stuff we could use like your clothes would make great defencive armor if we put a lot of it on so we are well padded and erm.. I'm sure you have other stuff" Chris said with a nod plus he just liked going in Jas' room.. it was his favourite place in the Malfoy house plus it was one of the only places Chris felt like Draco wouldnt pop into randomly.
"Well i hope i can see it..i dont want wild moths to fly out from nothingness and attack me" Chris said with a nod, he was fairly sure if he could see the atmosphere and the moths just about to come out he could defend himself. "I should have brought my beater bat that would have made an amazing weapon in case they attack us" Chris said frowning slightly but he never brought anything quidditch related over because he knew Jas wasnt the biggest fan of Quidditch stuff. "But i wanted to be the most important king.. but that'll be the guy you marry and he'll just tell me what to do" Chris said frowning he hated being told what to do, infant sometimes he'd do the opposite.. which often got him in trouble but oh well it was kind of fun disobeying someone.
