Trevor let out a long, loud sigh, "And you say that like it's a bad thing," he spoke immediately after her description of him. The truth was, that did make him feel a little bit bad about himself. But just a little! He was so used to acting that way, that when he heard such a spot on description of himself, it made him sound like a self-centered jackass, "Except, I'm not a bitch. You're the bitch," he added, pointing directly at her as he said so, "I can be kind when I feel the need to be. But you, on the other hand, don't seem to have one nice bone in your body," he sneered. "Oh yeah! A real looker!" he mocked her in his annoyingly high voice, flailing his arms around, "Jeez, if I had a grain of rice for every time you said something.. sarcastic, or used sarcasm in any shape or form, I could send it over to Africa and other needy countries and could easily end world hunger," his voice returned to its normal tone as he crossed his arms over his chest. He placed a hand over his mouth suddenly to stop himself from laughing, "Wait, you? You were in a relationship? With Chris Weasley, was it?" he assumed. He snickered behind his hand, "Hm, so I did see him macking on another girl in the corridor not too long ago. It definitely wasn't you," he lied with a smirk, crossing his arms over his chest yet again. Sure, this was completely false, but he just had to throw that out there to see which way it would go, "So, you must have been this ex he was speaking of, I'm guessing. I overheard him telling his buddies that you wouldn't put out, so he had to go find something that wasn't a complete waste of his time," the smirk was still in place as he watched her expression closely for her reaction. Sure, it was all made up, and it was a cruel thing to lie about, but at that moment Trev really didn't care. Maybe, if he was lucky, Annie would believe him and actually be pissed. Or she could see through his lie. Or she could believe him and really not give a care in the world.
"Whoop-dee-doo. You know karate. Is that supposed to frighten me? Do you really think that I would truly end up the way you so loved to describe? You really seem to think highly of yourself. One day someone's going to beat you at your own game," his tone was darker, his eyes colder. He was starting to get a little more of his confidence back. Just because the girl smacked him in the face didn't mean she could completely take him out. He didn't want to be marked as a pussy for the rest of his life or something, "Oh, I dunno. I said it because I felt like saying it, not because I had a reason behind it," he added quickly, feeling as if he didn't want her to think that he had just complimented her. His thoughts were all over the place, and he was continuously contradicting himself. He shrugged lightly, "Okay, fine, you want to do it in a bed, in a nice and comfy room. Doesn't make much difference where you do it, in my opinion, but let's do it your way. So how 'bout over the summer you come to my place? I'll make sure to clean up so there's room to walk around," he replied, nearly making himself laugh at how straightforward he was being. By the time he graduated, he was sure to have his own apartment so he wouldn't have to travel across seas again to live with his parents.
"Well, with you being so damn picky, you should start getting used to disappointment," he stated simply, "Let's hope you're not one of those girls who thinks her prince, or knight or something, is going to show up all dreamy looking, on a goddamn horse, in armor and shit, and you'll ride off into the sunset with him. This is reality," he was getting harsher by the second, he noticed, and he seemed to actually have something to say to every comment she made. Maybe he was starting to get better at this, or something along those lines. He brushed off her emo comment with a simple, "I'm sorry to hear that, but there are plenty around this place, so go ahead and feed upon their sanity, and help make both of our lives just a bit more bearable." He reached over toward a jar of lollipops to grab another. This time he chose a bright red one. He held it up next to Annie's hair for a split second before adding it onto the shelf with his collection, "Maybe, by eating that, I can imagine how your hair will taste," Well, that comment was random and creepy at all. Note the sarcasm, "The fun was already heavily damaged a while back. I think it's already killed itself by now," he muttered.
The moment he made that final move, he thought he was going to be heading to the hospital wing for sure. He wasn't scared of her, exactly, but she was rather intimidating, and he knew that she could probably do some damage if she was truly mad at him. With that move, he figured that she could lift him up and throw him across the room. He wasn't going to underestimate her; Just because she was small didn't mean she wasn't powerful. Of course, what surprised him greatly was that nothing had happened that was life threatening. In fact, she seemed to go along with it, as weird as that may seem. Or was she just playing him all the more? Her hand finding its way into his hair was a definite turn on. Her body was so close to him, it made him feel dizzy. But in a good way, of course. the kiss, though, did not last as long as he would have liked, though longer than he had expected. He mentally prepared himself for the next smack across the face, but it didn't come. Instead, she whispered something more to him, her breath tickling his face yet again. Her smell was intoxicating his senses. Her creamy, luscious lips were barely touching his now, and it was frustrating, to say the least. It was as if she was waiting for him. Was she going to have him make all of the moves, or was this some sort of trap that she was letting play out? Once again, he felt like he couldn't think properly. Deciding that, instead of answering verbally, he would continue on and see how it went. He took both hands off the display of candies and brought them down to cup Annie's cheeks. He tilted her head slightly, angling to his liking as he brought his lips down against hers yet again, this time with a little more passion behind it as his eyes fluttered shut. Her lips were soft and her mouth was warm, and she tasted quite spectacular. He knew he wanted to enjoy this moment while it lasted. His mouth opened slightly, caressing her lips with his own heatedly, but he didn't want to risk too much. One wrong move could leave him on the ground, like 'tongue action', for example, and he wanted to stretch this moment out as long as possible. He had no clue what he was in for.

Annie rolled her eyes and shook her head slightly. How did this guy cope with it all? Annie couldn't live if she knew that in the past, she'd hurt a bunch of people just to get sex from them, and then leave them in the night. But here this guy was, being faced with what he did, and he just accepted it, and moved on. She could never be so..so..heartless! It was like he had no heart, just lust, longing for someone else to fuck, and then he'd just disappear and then probably pretend like he didn't know them or something. Man, that was more heartless than Kaleb, as at least he acknowledged the people that he was with. "You...Jackass! I don't believe how completely heartless you are! Are you ignorant to the pain of others or something? Do you know how much it hurts, to lose someone you care about"
Annie asked, dragging her hands through her hair and letting out an exasperated sigh. She'd lost her grandmother, and Annie had loved her so much that she'd cried for weeks after. She couldn't imagine the pain though, of caring about someone, trusting them enough to give them your virginity, to have sex with them, and then wake up the next morning, to find out that not only were they gone, but they left no note, no acknowledgement of what you'd given them. That pissed her off. "I am nice. Just not around you" She explained with a shrug. She was never going to fully let her guard down around him, as she wasn't going to be the next person to wake up with him gone. "If I had a grain of rice for every person you had sex with, and then pretended not to remember in the morning, I'm sure that I could feed the whole world for the next ten years." She retorted, glad at least that her sarcasm was getting to her. Her heart fell when he mentioned the words 'relationship' and 'Chris Weasley'. She looked down at the floor and bit her lip to stop herself from getting all emotional and crying. She would never cry in front of him. never. When he mentioned another girl, she chewed her lip even more, and kept her eyes on some candy behind Trevor. "I should have known that he was lying. You want the truth, really? He cheated on me and I ended it, okay? Does that make you happy to hear?" She asked, shaking her head slightly. Chris had made out with that girl too? How stupid was she to actually think that she could trust him. He'd told her time and time again that he'd hurt her, and she'd ignored him. What a complete idiot. Did everyone know but her or something? Talk about adding insult to injury! She very nearly cried then, but she was more angry than upset. But that wasn't all. She listened as Trevor continued, and looked back at him with a shocked look on her face. "That lying son of a-, to think that I was going to do it-" Her voice broke off and she kept interrupting herself,, as she was so mad. She was so angry with Chris and with herself in that moment that she couldn't think straight, and fell for every word Trevor had said. She believed it all, just because she was so angry that she didn't use her common sense to guess that he was lying. "Yeah, I do, because I think that you wouldn't hit a girl, because you didn't earlier. At least you have some standards. And I'm willing to bet that your wand isn't with you, because you would have used it to make sure that I didn't catch you anywhere important, correct?" She assumed, hoping that everything she'd guessed, and everything she observed was correct. Besides, they were in the middle of Honeydukes, and should he start anything, he'd get stopped immediately. Although, that said, so would she. "Whatever, I figured out on my own that I could do ten times better than that cheater." She said. She hoped that whatever she would say would get to him. If it did infuriate him then she'd done her job, as all she wanted at that moment was to make him mad. Besides, he was contradicting himself, she'd noticed, which was a sign that his thoughts were all messed up and he was slightly vulnerable to her biting verbal attacks. "And I think that Nina could do better than you, it doesn't stop us girls fawning over those who don't deserve us, does it?" She asked, rolling her eyes and shaking her head again, knowing that she missed Chris, she missed his company, she missed how they would just feed off each other's randomness, and she missed him holding her. Every now and again, she'd get a flashback to him carrying her on the pitch, and it would sting worse than a bee. Annie was back to messing with him, so she pulled her face into serious conversation, and gave it a moment, made it look like she was thinking it all over. "Why go so far away, my apartment is around a ten minute walk away. Besides, if everyone else is doing it, why not me too, right?" She said, sounding serious, but then she let her lips crumble, and laughter fall from her mouth. "Please, if I was to chose someone to be my first, I wouldn't chose you" Annie said, laughing at the suggestion. "I'm not picky, I just have standards. I don’t want my first time to be with someone who will disappear when I fall asleep, and leave a crappy note with his apologies on it, and some fake reason for leaving me. I would rather someone who I know would be there in the morning when I wake up." She told him honestly, as she didn't want to wake up feeling happy and blissful, and then realise that she had the bed to herself and the boy was gone, leaving false promises of a date behind that would never happen. "To be honest, the fairytale life isn't for me, I'd much rather rescue myself" She said with a shrug, knowing very well that there was no prince on a white horse to ride off into the sunset with. The best she'd had so far was a red headed guy on a broomstick, but they didn't make it to the sunset part, as it seemed that he'd found another girl to take for a ride. Well fuck him, because she was never going to, and that was a promise. In fact, she was sure that she'd rather have sex with Trevor at the moment, if her only other option was Chris.. "Nah, it wouldn't be as much fun" She said with another shrug. It was too much fun to mess with him, as his reactions amused Annie greatly. "Maybe you'll be eating it on the crazy ward of st Mungo's, creep" She said with raised eyebrows. What the hell sort of comment was that? It was just odd, and stalktacular. ”Oh, such a shame! I’m sure the kids at St Mungo’s could have saved it too” She said sarcastically. Annie had put some cherry chap stick on earlier, and she wondered idly if he could taste it, as the sweet taste had invaded her mouth earlier when she'd bitten on her lip. To be honest, Annie was surprised herself that she'd not hit him yet, but he was a good kisser, and she wasn't going to waste this opportunity to see what all the fuss was about him. Besides, she was going to prove that she was a nun, because it was doubtful that any nun knew how to kiss like she did. It was odd, but his body, it was so close to hers, and she just couldn't think properly. She didn't understand it, as she didn't like Trevor, although he did have that thing about him, the thing that she couldn't quite put her finger on, but it made him hot. Maybe it was because he was a bad boy, and that was the draw for her, as she liked risky things, she'd proven that in the past with Chris. Kissing in the air, that was definitely a risk! When he brought his hands to her cheeks, her breath kept catching in her throat, like she wasn't in control of it. She let him tilt her head, and her eyes slipped closed as he brought his lips back to hers. Annie gave herself over to whatever she was feeling, even though she wasn't sure what that was. Maybe it was lust, as them being so close to each other, it must have triggered some sort of instinct that people had. Yeah, that was it. She couldn't think properly, nor breathe properly either, and she was half on her way to a heart attack, as it was beating so fast. The passion behind his kiss mingled with the passion that she put back into hers, and she allowed her hand to run itself through his hair again, her other hand still resting on his waist. Annie could taste the minty-ness of his toothpaste, and it was so minty and nice. She pulled her lips away and let them drop light kisses all up his jaw, then brought her lips to his ear, then whispered “Honestly, I’m surprised I’ve not hit you yet”, in a slightly joking tone, then laughed a little. She returned her lips to his, and initiated a kiss, which was probably something she wouldn't have done a moment ago, when she was in control of her rational thought. Her lips met with his again, and after a moment she allowed her mouth to open slightly, and her tongue to play on his lips, waiting for his reaction. Trevor let his eyes wander about Honeydukes, looking at anything but Annie, trying to appear as if her words didn't affect him even in the slightest. If he had said that out loud, though, the truth would be that he was lying. Her biting tone just added to the effect, and he tried his hardest not to visibly wince. These scenarios, which didn't happen often, usually caused some form of flashback in which he would relive moments in his life where he could be the cruelest. When he really was the most selfish and heartless person in sight. Placing himself in their shoes didn't work, because he had a pretty good feeling that he would never really know what it felt like to be on the receiving end of his treatment. For some reason, her little outburst stung more than he would have liked, but he brushed it off, "Yes, actually. I did lose a dog once. But I got over it," he replied evenly, shrugging as if it really didn't matter. He was only managing to make himself look worse, "Huh, that's a shame. What did I ever do to you?" he stopped shortly, "Wait, don't answer that," he added quickly. Of course she had a pretty good excuse to act the way she did around him. He let out a long sigh, tilting his head back and staring upwards until she had finished speaking, "Okay, let's get something straight here," he began, facing her once more, "It's not entirely my fault. They're the ones who're throwing themselves at me, so they should get a bit of the blame, as well. Their parent's should have raised them better, really," he defended himself, though it was truly a lame excuse. He would try to find excuses for everything, though, since that was just the way he was.
He could immediately tell that his little tale had an affect on her, as her eyes flew toward the ground. He hadn't known that he had been so spot on. Apparently, he really had been cheating on her, so this was a very plausible story he had conjured up in a matter of moments. He felt like giving himself a pat on the back, even. He couldn't help but let the small smirk tug at the corners of his lips once more. Her next little outburst startled him for a moment., and her look of shock only added to it. In the back of his mind, there was a strange feeling. It was deep, deep back there, hidden among all other thoughts, such as what he was going to wear tomorrow. Was that.. pity? Did he seriously feel sorry for her? Oh, no, that can't possibly be so. He must be imagining it! It wasn't like he was completely making it all up! He actually did cheat on her, so this wasn't all that bad, was it? She could emotionally damage him at times, but he was quite proud that he seemed to be able to fight right back with that one, so he wasn't going to let his own stupid feelings get in the way of a win of epic proportions! He paused for a moment, trying to select an appropriate answer, though her question really didn't need one. Then again, none of his answers were ever really appropriate or completely thought out, "I think it was just a sign from some.. powerful.. whatever, telling you that you should move on to bigger and better things. That, instead of dwelling on the past and moping about it, like Chris would have wanted, you can move on with your life. Now, you're free," he explained in an overly dramatic manner, spreading his arms out as if somehow making a point with this random hand gesture, "And if he comes running back to you, begging forgiveness, then that would be the perfect time for some sweet revenge," he rubbed his hands together randomly, "Make him jealous. Make him feel sorry for what he did. Torture him, but still don't take him back. Even if he denies everything, you know he's full of shit, so he loses either way," he nodded his head slowly, as if he was enjoying this act of genius he had come up with in such a short time. He snapped himself out of his little 'moment' and shook his head slightly, "Not like I'm trying to help you with your problem or anything. Nope. Still hate you," he explained quickly. Of course, he couldn't truly hate her, though, as much as he wanted to.
"I wouldn't be so sure of yourself. I could be waiting to strike when you're not looking. Who's to say I won't fight back when I'm attacked? That slap was a free hit," he stated simply, with the smallest of shrugs, "And my wand could be hidden, perhaps in my pants, for all you know. Maybe I was just going easy on you," he added, a smirk tugging at the corners of his lips once more, "Yes, there are plenty of other fish in the sea," he leaned against the display next to him that held shelves of different candies, stuffing his hands casually into his pockets, "Like me," he stated, grinning like an idiot. He shook his head slightly, "But.. I was only saying that because it rhymed. Don't get your hopes up," he added. His expression went from a goofy grin to a a scowl in seconds, and his eyes narrowed just as quickly. He almost literally growled. How weird would that have been? His teeth clenched, knowing he didn't have a good retort, so he chose to just keep his mouth shut. That would have been better than making a stupid, lousy comment. His hands now left the inside of his pockets, and his arms were crossed over his chest as he pushed himself away from the surface he had been leaning against. He had to watch her carefully, then, because he couldn't quite tell if she was truly being serious. Her tone was serious, but.. Of course, he should have known better. He should have been getting used to her ways by now, "And why would that be? Wouldn't you prefer someone with a little more experience, to show you the ropes?" the smirk had returned, this time in full force. Damn, his emotions were still all over the place. One sentence uttered by her could piss him off, then he could say something that would cheer himself up. Then she would just piss him off again. Then, he could say something that he wished he hadn't, because it would make him feel sorry for her. My god, there had to be medication he could take for this, right?
He groaned dramatically, "Why do you have to make everything so difficult?" he muttered, "Fine, I'll tell you what. I'll stay through the morning. I'll even make you breakfast. Do you prefer pancakes or waffles? Maybe some eggs and bacon?" he joked, his smirk still in place. He felt so bipolar with Annie. One second he could be loving this argument, then the next he could be wanting to hit something with a baseball bat. Maybe not a person, but a wall, perhaps. He paused for a moment, trying to disguise his frustration, "Hm, St. Mungo's? Never been there, is it nice? I'm sure you would know," he replied simply as he turned to examine his collection of sweets he had accumulated so far.
Trevor miserably failed in attempting to keep his mind from going all over the place. He couldn't think straight, though he was able to think about what could happen if he wasn't thinking. Weird, huh? He figured that maybe this was a plan of distraction. She would get him all brainless (not like that required too much effort), then be able to injure him easily in his 'important' spot without his reactions alert, to defend himself. Or, he could just be getting paranoid. There had to be a switch somewhere where he could just turn his mind off! The taste of her lips were extremely intoxicating, and he realized that cherry would easily be his new favorite taste. He would probably end up buying everything in the sweet shop that was cherry flavored. The hand perched on his waist wasn't pushing him away yet, which was a relief. When her lips left his mouth, he almost pouted, until she began planting small kisses all along his jaw. He wouldn't admit this aloud, of course, but she was a damn good kisser. When her warm breath tickled his ear, he felt a chill run down his spine, "I still have my guard up," he growled back seductively before her lips met his again. One hand of his moved down lightly toward her neck, and the other moved up to tangle itself into her own hair. He was damn well hoping he had the same effect on her that she had on him. When he felt her lips part and her tongue dance on his lips, he had to keep himself from moaning in pleasure. His mouth parted a bit more as his own tongue darted out from the depths of his mouth to battle for dominance. Suddenly, he took her bottom lip between his teeth a gave her a gentle nibble. Oh, he was was so enjoying this more than he should have been.

Annie couldn't believe him! He didn't even have the nerve to look her in the eyes, which told her that he knew everything that she'd said was true, and he just wasn't going to admit or accept it. Even more than that, he wasn't even going to acknowledge that she had him spot on. Annie shook her head and sighed when he mentioned losing a dog. "I mean a person. A living, breathing, talking person who was closer to you than anyone else, and then they get taken away from you."
She snapped, rubbing her forehead with her hand to calm herself down. Annie had lost someone close to her, as just over a year ago, she'd lost her grandmother, who had raised Annie for a good few years when she was younger. Annie was nothing but happy around her grandmother, so it was a huge loss, and Annie hadn't taken it well. She still missed her gran terribly. "Yeah, I thought you wouldn't need me to. Or is it that you coldn't face how you act with others and you don't want me telling you, as that would make it undeniable?" She asked, trying to meet his eyes. "Oh that makes it all better does it? That because they throw themselves at your feet, you feel obliged to give in to them? You can say no, you know?" She retorted, hating how this guy could be such a jackass, and still have hundreds of girls flocking around his feet. Although if the girls were silly enough then that’s their problem. Annie eyed Trevor with a suspicious look. Okay, so he may have had a point there, that now she was free to move on, but what if she didn't want to yet? What if she liked Chris a lot more than she'd ever let on, and what if it was Chris she still wanted, no matter how much he'd hurt her or whatever. Making him jealous was a good idea though! Was she really calling one of Trevor Schumacher's plans a good one? Sweet Merlin, something had gone on there! She must be ill or something, as there was hardly a time when it was appropriate to suggest that Trevor's plans were good. "I have moved on, thank you very much. Way on.. I don't care about him anymore, he's just like a distant and forgotten memory" She said with a shrug, managing to pull that off with a decent enough expression so that it could pass as the truth, unless someone looked closer. But it wasn't the truth, although she was trying to convince herself, just as much as Trevor that she didn't give a shit about him, and that she didn't care what Chris did anymore. "Iif this whole jealous thing is a way to get me into bed Mr. Schumacher, it is not working." She said with a false and annoying smile. She was doing her best to get back at him, but it was hard to do your best when you were thinking about your ex boyfriend, and ways that you could piss him off. But maybe the way to do it was right in front of her. Maybe she could involve Trevor somehow in his idea that she'd silently called good, as after all, it was his idea. "Good, cause I hate you too" She said with a shrug, as if it was nothing new to her. "Well it's a good job that my wand is closer to me than your wand is to you. There's a hell of a lot of space in your pants to hide your wand, so good luck finding it quickly" She said with a sickly sweet grin. Okay, so she was getting better, as she'd just suggested that there wasn't anything big in his pants, and that was a win on her part. She just had to get her mind properly back on form and she'd be back to amazing verbal comebacks that would blow his mind into next week. And she'd managed to do that a few times in the past, granted, but the Chris comments had caught her off guard and knocked her off her game, but she'd just got her concentration back, at least. "Oh and if you do have trouble finding it in there, don't bother asking me for help, there's no way" She said with a smirk, that was sure to infuriate him. Or at least, she hoped it would. She snorted when he suggested that he's another fish for her. "Please! I think I'd like to let you go and try again" She said with another laugh, carrying on the fishing metaphor for finding someone else to be with. She wasn't even looking for fish, she was hoping for something more like a lobster. She laughed again as he went from that goofy grin one second into that scowl the next. "Sure you were, I believe you" She said, adding more of a sarcastic tone into this little sentence, in the hope of annoying him even more with the sarcasm that he'd claimed to hate earlier on. "Yeah. Experience. Not infections" She retorted, as quick as ever, rolling her eyes and shaking her head, as another smirk appeared on her lips. At least she was back on her game now. "Because I don’t want to feel like a cheap whore, who has money left on the bedside table when the guy leaves. And because it's fun to watch you wriggle and squirm." She replied simply, as it was the truth, she found it highly amusing to hear his ways to try and get her into bed, as she knew that it was highly unlikely that any of them would work, even though this offer was tempting. "Fine. Pancakes. With maple syrup, of course. And you stay all night and cook me them perfectly. Burn them, or my kitchen and you die. I'll make you a deal, you promise me that, and you can come over." Annie paused for a moment. “Yeah right! I’m not that easy!“ She said with a laugh, after managing to remain completely serious all the way through. Okay, to be honest, she was tempted to actually take him up on that offer, as being a virgin, well, she felt like she was missing out on something. She was turning seventeen in a months time, and she knew a fourteen year old who'd had sex before her, and that was never a good thing, was it? "Yeah it's lovely. I had to go there once, to arrange for someone to come and get you. They said they’d be around next Saturday. Oh, and there were flowers in the lobby and everything, the real deal" She said with a shrug, as if that was real. She'd never been to St Mungo's, even though her mother worked there. Watching how she kissed then, you wouldn't think that the only guy she'd ever kissed like this was Christopher Weasley! Sure, she'd kissed a few guys in the past, just not like, made out with them or anything like that. No, Chris was the first guy that she made out with, and he was the last guy that she'd made out with too, not counting Trevor and this kiss, considering that it wasn't really over yet. Yes, Annie had pretty much picked up on kissing quickly though, much to the delight of people who were spreading rumors about her being a slut, because anyone who saw her kissing Chris would have probably been under that impression too. Annie smirked at the guard statement, but she refused to comment on it, as the seductive tones in his voice, so husky and manly, they were sending Annie's brain to mush. She felt his hand on her neck, and the other in her hair, and she couldn't help but notice how awesome that felt. She didn't know why such a simple action was such a turn on, but she knew that it was, for her at least. Did she have that same effect on him? The hand on his waist tightened slightly, and then began pulling him, and his body, closer to hers, so that their bodies were touching now. Her hand that was tangled in his hair ruffled through it as they kissed, hoping to reproduce the feelings that she'd had a moment ago. Annie fought the slight urge to moan as she felt his tongue meet hers. But that didn't last long, before she felt his teeth grip her bottom lip, and him nibble on it. If this was what he kissed like, she couldn't help but wonder what he was like in bed. She could make it happen. She'd only have to say one word and he'd probably follow like a puppy, but she wasn't too intoxicated to stop thinking straight quite yet. Annie moved the hand from his waist, and then she let it find it's way under Trevor's shirt, resting it on his stomach, as she removed her lips from his again to nibble on his earlobe quickly, then allowing them to travel once more back down the path of his jaw, before rejoining them with his soft, warm lips, her tongue rejoicing as it met his again. Annie ran her tongue along the roof of his mouth, as that had been a soft spot for her, and she was wondering if it was the same for him. She was enjoying this so much more than she should have been, considering that it was Trevor Schumacher that she was making out with. Trevor knew that she had to have meant people when she had said that, but the truth was, he really hadn't lost anyone he was really close to. Those he were close with hadn't died, they would just drift apart. Sometimes it could be almost as bad as them dying, but he knew that they were still alive. So, in all honesty, he really didn't truly know what it felt like. He shrugged lightly like it really didn't matter, though deep inside he knew if he lost a member of his family, or a close friend, it would probably change him somehow, "I'm perfectly fine with the way I act, thank you very much," he replied bitterly, though, for the most part, he was lying. There were some things about him that he wished he could change, but they were really just habits. He wasn't as bad as he once was, though. That, he knew. He let his eyes wander, trying not to meet Annie's as he let them stare at some colorful lollipops, "Yes, but they're very persistent," he began slowly, "I mean, it really is hard to say no, and they do beg sometimes," he let out a small sigh, "So it isn't like it's a horrible thing or something. They're the ones who ask for it, after all."
He turned his head to face her once more, watching closely for her reaction. She did seem the type who would love a bit of revenge, but that was just his thought on her. Though she seemed quite believable in saying she had moved on, he couldn't help but be a bit suspicious. Had she really moved on? Something about the way she said it didn't go well with him, "Hm, well, it's nice to know that you move on quickly and don't get too attached," he commented with his small smirk, "Because the clingy ones can get really annoying. They follow you around like a dog, and just don't seem to get that you just don't want them around," he explained, "And then they can't even get over it after they see their man making out with someone else. I mean, honestly, that's a little sad if they can watch that and still have an ounce of feeling for the guy, really," he finished, watching for her reaction carefully. If she still had feelings for Chris, then maybe his words just may offend her. He frowned suddenly, having not realized how amazing of an idea that was until she had stated it, "Well, it actually wasn't, mostly due to the fact that I hadn't though about that, and even though I hit on you doesn't mean I actually want to get in your pants. Now that I think about it.. I know that may sound strange, but knowing the fact that we hate each other, it'll probably be a bunch of anger sex," he told her, "I mean, that's hot and all, but I'm not sure that's the safest route for your.. first time. You wouldn't be experienced enough to battle it out," the smirk was in place again, and he knew that these words were a lie, as well. No matter how much he disliked her, that made him want to get in her pants even more, and it just made it even better, knowing that that would be her first time. As long as she wasn't lying about all of that, of course. Really, the only reason he had said that was to see if she would get pissed off enough to try and prove herself.
"Oh, that's very funny of you," he stated, trying to keep the annoyance from seeping through, "Well, say I don't have my.. magical wand, thought the other one is quite magical, but that isn't the point.. Would you take advantage of that? You'd rather have a duel, right? I mean, what's the fun of using your magic on someone who has no way of defending themselves?" he questioned her with a raised brow, hoping to stop her before she went all witch crazy on him, if she was even going to. It was just like him letting her beat him up, to get it over with. There was really no fun in that if he couldn't fight back somehow, or defend himself. He rolled his eyes to the ceiling, realizing there was no point fighting back with those comments. Of course, denying it would make him look stupid, and whipping it out to prove her wrong would probably get him arrested or something.. however they dealt with those things in the wizarding world. Would you really be sent to Azkaban for sexual harassment? "No, really, it rhymed. Sea. Me. Get it? Like I would want that. No," this was exactly what he was trying to get himself to not do. Overly denying something obviously made it sound like someone was lying, desperate to prove that what they said was true. Her next retort was quick and well played out. He had nothing for that one, only to insist that he didn't have any 'infections' but knew that would only make him look even more pathetic than he already did.
"Trust me, you're not worth paying for," he responded just as quickly. Sure, it was mean, and he probably would pay for her if she was like that. How messed up was that? He usually would never even think about doing something like that. Of course, for some stupid reason, he actually got excited when she continued on. Why couldn't he get that she was full of sarcasm and jokes and every other thing that pissed him off to no end? He couldn't believe that he had actually gotten his hopes up, "Well obviously," he growled, "Like I would believe that bull crap for a second," he lied with another roll of his eyes, "I make some mean pancakes, though. Even with chocolate chips," he added, his eyebrows raised suggestively at Annie, "So my offer remains, in case you ever change your mind," of course he knew she wouldn't, but he was just going to say that because he felt like it needed to be said. He had no logic behind most things he did, "Oh, well, at least you care about me enough to have me admitted to St. Mungo's. That's really quite sweet of you," he added, a smile now gracing his face instead of a smirk, though it was fake. Everything about this 'conversation' was fake, it seemed.
Trev did have a hard time believing that she was some sort of nun now. She definitely went about this like she was experienced! She was actually better than most girls he made out with. Most of them were just sloppy like dogs, or moved there tongue around like a washing machine. It was just slightly disturbing and not even that hot. But this.. this was hot. And he hated that. He didn't want to be enjoying this, but he was. He felt her pull him closer, and that's when he noticed the ever-so-slowly tightening in the front of his jeans. Now this just wasn't fair! Her hand running through his hair just made everything worse. God, this was the worst situation he could ever be in. He hated it as much as he loved it, but of course his needs were overpowering. When he felt her hand travel under his shirt, though, and her lips leave his mouth once more, his brain suddenly decided to think, even if just a bit. This could all be her plan. A cruel, evil little trap he was falling into. She could get him all excited, only to walk off like nothing happened, and just leave him to deal with his troubles. That was one of the cruelest things a woman could do. Trevor knew that she had to know what she was doing. He was just falling right into this trap like an idiot! There was no way he was going to let this happen! But this.. it was awesome. He couldn't just end it now. He had to, though. He felt like he was having an internal battle with himself. Continue this and let her leave with the satisfaction of another win, or stop before it was too late. Hell, it already was too late, to be honest.
All the while of his mind being filled with these horrifying thoughts, he felt her lips on his again and her tongue on the roof of his mouth. Oh, that felt just way too awesome. Dammit, she definitely knew what she was doing, and it was working. This only increased the pressure he was feeling in the front of his pants. That's when he knew that enough was enough. He wasn't going to let her win this time. He shoved away from her suddenly, stumbling backward and running into another display of sweets. Luckily for him, nothing fell and broke. He stood there for a moment, trying to catch his breath, proud that he was able to pull away from her without it getting any worse, "Oh you think you're such a bad ass. Well, I know what you're up to, and I'm not going to let you succeed. Oh nooo. Hell no," he spoke after he was able to breathe properly, glaring at Annie darkly as he tried to compose himself. It still felt like her hands were on him. It was going to take him a while to recover. He stood there uncomfortably, his problem being quite a problem, "That's, like, sending out invitations to a party that doesn't exist," he explained, "Even for you, that's really low."

Annie knew what she was talking about when it came to losing someone she loved, because it was her grandfather who had died first, and although she could barely remember him, she had one or two memories that were with him, and she knew that she loved him very much too. And then her gran had died, and that was a battle in intself. Annie went to the funeral, she cried lots that time that she was home. It took her three agonising weeks before she could return to Hogwarts and sit through lessons, and that was why she knew that if life was worth living, then it was worth living well! "Well then that makes you even more heartless than I thought."
She said, noting his lack of response to the losing someone comment. Surely that meant that he'd never lost someone, and he probably had never lost someone he'd loved either, as in like, a girl or something. God that was sad, because it took losing love to show you how amazing and special, and precious it was, and he'd not felt that yet. She did note the tones in his voice too, they were bitter, and it made her think that maybe he disliked who he was. But then she remembered who she was talking too, and it brought her thoughts back to reality. Like hell he'd ever dislike who he was, because he got all the girls he wanted, apart from her, and she was sure that he enjoyed it. In fact, she knew that he enjoyed that by the way that he talked about them practically begging for him. "Well then they should have gone to specsavers" She said with a shrug, reffering to that old muggle advert for the glasses store. See her mother and father made sure that they had muggle tv at home, so that they could watch it as a family, and enjoy watching the shows on there, although the adverts were terribly annoying when you were in the middle of an exciting program and they take a break to tell you that aquafresh has all three coloured stripes, as it really wasn't something she needed to know from an advert. "Getting attatched can be over rated, unless it's someone that you know you can trust. I guess I never really trusted him" She said with a shrug, avoiding Trevor's eyes and looking around at the sweets for a distraction. She figured that should she have met his eyes, he would have told almost instantly that she was lying through her teeth, as she had trusted Chris, and that was what made the whole thing worse in the first place. [clor=steelblue]"He can make out with whoever he wants, as long as it's not me" She said with a shrug. And that was the truth, as they weren't together anymore so it wasn't like it was any of her business who's throat he stuck his tongue down. "Oh I'm sure I could handle it, but that's a theory that I'm not going to test. with you." She said with a smirk, deciding that it probably wasn't good for her first time to be with someone who's ego took up a whole lot of space in the room, cause she wouldn't be able to breathe. "Oh, I'd ask to check that theory out, but I don't think that there's a spell that can act like a magnifying glass" She said with a shrug, as if it was the complete truth. Actually, there probably was a spell for that sort of thing, as she thought there was a spell for everything, although she wasn't sure. "Oh don't worry, I won't try and kill you unless you try and do something that I'm not happy with. then I'll make sure you do suffer" She said with another smirk, as she knew what he was like, and she was sure that he was probably capable of doing something she disliked. "So your saying you don't want me? Well thank God for that, because now you can stop trying to jump on me every twenty seconds, and you can stop with the chat up lines too." She said with what was meant to be a sigh of relief, albeit a fake one. "Well you wouldn't know, would you?" She retorted, referring to the fact that he'd never experienced that with her, and so he had no proof. Annie could see the hope in his face, and in his eyes, and she smirked when his response said the opposite of what she saw in his expression. "Your expression told me that you believed it for more than a second, and more than that, you hoped it was true" She replied cooly, an all knowing look in her face. She'd seen it in his expression, there was no denying that he was hoping that she was serious! "Well you never know, maybe one day I'll get to taste your pancakes. Although the situation that I taste them in may not be the one your thinking of" She said with another laugh, letting him get his hopes up again for a second, that maybe she wasn't thinking about that now, but in the future she was. And she actually was, how messed up was that? The offer seemed like one she'd not find anywhere else, and chocolate chip pancakes sounded lovely. So there was a hint of seriousness in his voice, although Annie wasn't sure if he'd pick up on that or dismiss it as her messing with him again. Annie was disturbed by just how much she was enjoying this kiss! To be honest, she'd spent a little time in the past meeting thinking about how good a kisser he was, and he was beyond good, even though she'd protest that she ever thought that whenever she could. The kiss was hotter than she'd ever had before, and it was even beginning to turn her thoughts to the idea of letting him come home with her, but she blocked that thought out mentally, straight away. She wouldn't let him do that, would she? Trevor Schumacher as her first? But he was hot, and a good kisser, and he had experience which would mean that he'd show her the ropes as promised, and be extra good at it too, hopefully! Why hopefully? No, she was not going to do that, not yet at least. It seemed that the roof of his mouth was the same as it was for her, a weak spot, and the running her hand through his hair had seemingly worked too, because Annie could feel a noticeable bump in his trousers when her body was close to his. Her instinct was to push away then, but she wanted to see how far she could push herself before she said no. She was slightly turned on too, of course, but it wasn't noticeable because of any bumps with her, so she was lucky, as if he knew he had that effect with her, well that would be murder. She wanted to see how long she'd manage to keep her head for, and just when she was about to pull away or lose it, he pushed her away first, nearly falling back into some candies. Her brain was going like clockwork, trying to regain not only her composure, but her breath, as she could bearly catch it. "Actually, I wasn't up to anything, but you, on the other hand..." She said, coughing slightly, and her eyes travelling down for a second, then meeting his eyes. A blush had crept into her cheeks, but she told herself it was because the store was warm. "Nun's don't have parties" She said simply, referring to what he'd called her earlier. "But as I said, I'm not a nun, and who says that I'm not throwing one? I maybe, but...not yet.." She said. Had she just invited him to sleep with her? She'd pushed herself too far, and had lost her head after all! Trevor sighed, giving a small shake of his head, "Hey, just because I haven't lost anyone close to me, and can't relate to other people's problems, doesn't necessarily mean I'm heartless," he defended himself quickly. That, too, offended him slightly. He hated how Annie had the ability to get to him so easily. At times it seemed like she knew him better than he knew himself, "I don't think that would have helped," he stated simply, noting her muggle reference. He was very muggle educated, obviously coming from a muggle household and being muggle born, "They'd throw themselves at anything that had legs and could breathe," he finished, realizing how bad he was making some of these girls seem. It was partially the truth, but no so for Nina. Anyway, he just wanted to blame this all on someone else and not himself, to make it more bearable, "I bet you have trust issues, huh? And that just made it worse, hm?" he asked curiously, "Even if you didn't trust him completely, you were probably starting to," he finished, trying to watch her carefully, though noticing her eyes were wandering like his own would be when he didn't want her to see the truth. He, himself, had his own fair share of trust issues. That, and commitment issues, obviously. The truth, buried deep within him, something he would never admit to, was that he was afraid of love. He didn't trust anyone, and didn't want to get hurt because of it. He had seen that happen to tons of people before. The only way to deal with this was to shut a lot of people out. That's why he was never in relationships. He just didn't believe in love, really.
"Yeah, well, I highly doubt it," he responded, obviously trying to see if this approach would work, "And I have some things I can easily poke fun of about you, but I'm just too nice," he added with a sickly sweet smile gracing his lips. He wasn't going to let her comments get to him. He knew he didn't have to prove anything to her, though the temptation was still there. He would have to continue to control himself, and maybe, in time, the moment would come where she would take her silly words back. That was most likely never going to happen, he knew, but one can always dream, "You think so highly of yourself, it's sort of frightening. I still have a feeling that you're mostly just talk and no action, but that's just me," he added with a small shrug. No reason to press the subject too much, or she would kill him just to prove a point, "Just because I don't want you doesn't mean I'm not going to continue to hit on you. It's just the way I am," he explained quickly. He had to find some way to cover up the fact of how much he truly wanted her. He was disgusted with himself. Knowing that he disliked her so much, he knew he shouldn't waste his time with her. It was only her who was winning if he did, "Trust me, I can just tell you're not worth the trouble," he replied, "I can easily find something better somewhere else," he added. Well, that may be the truth, but he wanted her, and he wasn't going to stop until he got her. Which was very stupid, since that would mean he would be at this for the rest of his life.
Trev's eyes narrowed instantly, "Oh, please. Now you're just seeing things. I know you well enough to know that the bullshit is always pouring from your mouth. You can tell me you were going to eat cake tonight after dinner and I probably wouldn't believe you," he responded with arms crossed over his chest. He probably shouldn't have defended himself here, either, because he just made it even more clear that she was right. Why couldn't he just let something go? At her next tempting comment, he tried to tune her out, block her voice from entering his ears. He didn't want to hear her blab about how it might happen, because he knew he would be disappointed even if he told himself that she was lying. He didn't think for a second to fall for her act. He was going to show her that she couldn't fool him each and every time, so he just gave her an icy stare, "Well, really, it's your loss," he stated simply, succeeding in keeping the small bit of disappointment from entering his tone. Maybe, one day, if he was lucky, he would find her intoxicated, and all his prayers would be answered.
Of course, he still tasted her cherry goodness on his lips as he licked them, knowing that that certain taste wouldn't be leaving him anytime soon. At that moment, he felt like hitting himself for having broken apart. Who knew how further they could have gone? No, no, this was all just a trap! He had to keep reminding himself of this. He had to use every ounce of self control he had left not to go diving in for more at that very moment, "Really? Well, I find that hard to believe. You're just a tease," he growled back, pretty pissed that he had let her get to him like this. He was just a mess. As he was staring her down, though, he couldn't help but notice the traveling of her eyes and the blush that appeared on her cheeks. For real? No, no, he had to be seeing things. And there she went again, feeding him more fantasies. It was so cruel of her to give him false hope, "Seriously, you can stop bull craping me, now. No reason to get my hopes up and have them come crashing down dramatically," he added, shifting himself awkwardly, his back pressed against the surface behind him to keep himself from jumping Annie yet again. He was going to need a cold shower, and soon.

"It means that you've not learned the worth of love, as in, love for a family member, because you've not felt the gaping hole that is left behind. You need to realise, once you lose someone, that you can't call them up and hear their voice whenever you want, you can't see them smile, or hear them laugh, and you can't have them tell you that everything is going to be okay, because it's not. Your alone, and you have to deal with that"
Annie retorted, remembering all the times that she was about to write to her nan, or ask her to come over so she could tell her how much she meant to her. Loss of someone that you loved was indescribable, but it's the after effects that were worse. You had to check yourself when you were about to contact them to see how they were, or ask if you can go visit them or whatever, because Annie had asked once, and not remembered, and she ended up in a graveyard, crying again, as she realised that there wouldn't be any more trips to grandma's house, because it wasn't grandma's house anymore. That was hard too, realising that the house that you grew up a lot in, the house that your gran lovingly decorated, that it was all gone, with a new lick of paint and some new carpet to line the floors. It was like someone had taken a giant eraser, and rubbed out all trace of her from Annie's life, and that was what hurt. "Well then that says a lot for the type of girls your into, but I’m not like them. I'm not easy" She retorted, picking up all her sweets and stuff again. Annie was worried, as it was creepy how well that Trevor could read her sometimes. Okay, so he tended to fall for her sarcasm, but it seemed that he knew how to get to the deep rooted issues that she had. She was afraid, if truth be told, of falling in love, because she knew that it meant being vulnerable, because if they hurt you then that was it, you could walk around, practically broken for months, and sometimes years afterward, and it was a hard thing to get over, because when you fell in love, not only did you put yourself at risk of heartbreak, but you made yourself reliant on their company and their affection, and after awhile, you started expecting them to hold you as you slept, and to wake up in the morning with their arms around you, and you'd feel safe. Until something goes wrong, and then they cheat, or lie or leave you, and your alone again, and that's when you really know what love is, because it's that giant part of you that's missing. "Your the one with issues, you don't know when to keep your mouth shut" She bit back, biting her lip to stop herself from crying or screaming. It was frustrating, how well he knew her. If there was one thing that anyone should know about Annie, it was that she didn't like being made to feel vulnerable. You see, behind the confidence, flirtatiousness and the karate, there was a vulnerable girl, just like any other, hidden away. But she knew that there were people in the world who would see a short person like her and think that she was an easy target, so she made sure that she was nothing of the sort, by learning karate, and by watching herself and those around her so that she was hardly ever taken by surprise. Thanks to karate she was flexible and well trained, thanks to Quidditch, she had strong arm muscles, and thanks to her reflexes she was quite fast, and Trevor had known that. This time though, he'd been faster. And he'd taken her by surprise too, as she'd never expected him to react like that. She genuinely did think that the only reason that he was flirting with her was because he could see that she got annoyed by bed hoppers like him trying to make a move on her, as usually it was because of the rumours that had been spread about her. If there was a second thing that anyone should know about Annie, it was that she was not a slut, and in fact, she was very conservative when it actually came to sex. So she'd flirt, she'd even get close enough to get the boy all excited, and she'd done that today, but she never had the guts to actually initiate sex with him, because she was scared of actually doing that. If there was a third thing that anyone should know about Annie, it was that she didn't like being scared, and that she tried to face her fears, whether it be holding a spider in her hand, or flying high enough so that people were little specks on the ground. But this was one fear that Annie didn't know if she was ready to face, as she'd heard stories about it hurting, and she disliked pain even more than she disliked being wrong. "You know what, I know what your doing, and doing that won't make me want to prove myself to you" Annie said, shaking her head with a smug smirk on her lips. She lied. It made her want to prove herself more than ever, but she was managing to contain that urge, because Honeydukes, no matter how amazing, was not going to be where she lost her virginity. "Oh what, the fact that I've never had sex? Is that it? Please, I'm proud that I've not wasted myself on a pathetic loser like you, or that Kaleb Garcia either." She said, rolling her eyes as she recalled Kaleb's pathetic attempts to get her into bed, and needless to say that they didn't work, because he never even got to kiss her. Oh she wanted so bad to wipe that damned smile off his lips, no matter how amazing they tasted. "It's not working. In fact, it's having the opposite effect. I feel no need to prove myself to you" More lies, in fact, it was having exactly the desired effect, but she wasn't about to tell him that! "Whatever, I'll just ignore your pathetic attempts at flirting" She said with a passive shrug, although that annoyed her and excited her at the same time, which was just so wrong! In truth, Annie couldn't wait to see what the hell else he'd do to try and get her into bed, because she found it amusing to watch him battle to win her company for the night, and she wasn't about to give in anytime soon. Whether she wanted him or not, she was going to make sure that he had a hard time before she hopped into bed with her, because otherwise it would be like giving candy away for free, boring and it would cost a lot. Annie laughed at that comment about her not being worth it. "Oh, really? So, me being as flexible as a gymnast fresh out of training doesn't turn you on in the slightest, does it?" She asked, stealing his sickly sweet smile and using it on her own, cherry flavoured lips. "Nope, the people at specsavers gave me an eye test not far back, and they said that my eyesight was better than ever. Although it's doubtful that it would help me see anything of you, at any rate" She said, still the smug smile stayed there. "And I actually like to eat desert before dinner, because what if the world ended when I was halfway through my main course, and waiting excitedly for my favourite desert? That would just be disappointing" She said with a shrug, disclosing a random habit of hers to him. "Yeah, I bet the pancakes are delightful" Annie said with an uncaring shrug. her mum would always make the best pancakes, that was just the truth. Annie noticed his tongue run over his lips, and she silently wished that he'd not broken away from the kiss. Okay, so she was going to do it, but she was already wanting his lips on hers, but she knew it was just her teenage hormones, acting out of bad judgement. "So you admit that you are hoping to get me into bed with you?“ Annie said, smirking as he’d basically admitted that he hoped that she was telling the truth, and that he did want her. “Bull crap? Oh, yeah, uh, that is exactly what it was. " She said with a shrug, sort of impassive, if you will, although it was probably something that was unconvincing. Honestly, she'd lost her mind, completely and utterly lost her mind, at least for a second there! But she’d managed to regain some composure, and pushed her shoulders back again, standing straight and proud. Honestly, at first she’d not been lying, and a part of her was sure that she was lying more now, but she wasn’t going to let him have her easily, oh no, not a chance, he had to prove to her that he’d be worth it first, and then, then she’d consider it. Annie took a step back, keeping herself as far away from him as she could, as she was so close to kissing him again, and she wasn’t sure whether she wanted it more than she hated him, or if he’d used some sort of odd potion on her to have her pining for him. Maybe that was it, he’d spiked her pumpkin juice or something. She found herself backed against the shelves again, and she let her hands find support there, as she finally caught the remainder of her breath and her heartbeat returned to normal. She could still taste the prominent mint taste of his toothpaste, that seemed to clash dramatically with the one that she used, intensifying the flavour, much to her dismay. One word and they could be on their way to her apartment for that hate sex that he’d mentioned earlier. But it was Trevor, and Annie knew that she wasn’t about to give in that easily. Even though the way that he was practically growling his words was hotter than she could explain, as the rough, manly voice was clearly audible, and that was a big attraction. Trevor visibly clenched his teeth, avoiding all eye contact with Annie at this point. It was the truth, obviously. He was one of the lucky ones in this world, he sometimes thought, since no one close to him had actually died except for pets. His parents weren't dead, though they were a hell of a lot distant toward him ever since they learned of his abilities. He hadn't visited his grandparents since he was ten. His older sister had even grown bitter toward him. It was mostly due to the fact that he was a wizard and she was just a mere muggle, but she also called him a freak, and it was hard to live in the same household with her. It was good that she was gone and married now. He hadn't heard from her in two years. As much as he liked to admit that it didn't bother him, the truth was that it did. A lot. He felt that as long as he had close friends to override the loss of relationships in his family, that everything would be all fine and dandy. The truth was, this was a main reason where his own trust issues came into play, "Well, you've seemed to make that quite obvious," he snapped back. He knew that she wasn't 'easy' in the slightest, which was one of the reason he was still standing there.
His eyes returned to her as he studied her reaction. With her biting comment, it seemed to appear that he had hit the nail on the head. Was that all she could say? Had he caught her off guard with his precise words? It was strange, since he hadn't been expecting that. He really had just been throwing that out there to let it flap in the non existent breeze, but apparently he had to have been right on something, with her not-so-Annie-like retort. Really? Telling him that he didn't know when to keep his mouth shut was quite lame, he was honestly surprised she didn't have something better than that. Why not milk this while he could? "Aww, is wittle Annie getting upset?" he asked in the voice one would use when talking to a baby or toddle, "Am I just a little too observant for my own good?" he chuckled darkly at this, though in the back of his mind he felt this weird feeling. What the hell was that? Guilt? Pity? He really needed to get himself some help if he was actually going to start feeling sorry for the girl he proclaimed to hate with a burning passion, "Is that why you hide behind this mask of toughness and sarcastic, hurtful remarks? Because really, there's just a sensitive, vulnerable, puny little girl inside? Does doing all of this make you feel better about yourself?" he asked, his smirk returning and growing larger by the second, ignoring those other feeling buried within himself.
Trev let out a small sigh and shook his head slightly, trying to hold up his next little act, "Oh, please. You jump to conclusions way too quickly. I happen to just be pointing out the obvious," he responded with a small shrug, "And since when did Kaleb have to get thrown into this conversation?" he asked with an eyebrow raised, trying to regain his previous composure that she always seemed to be destroying. It was just constant up and down with him, "It's a shame that with every word that comes out of my mouth, you think that for some reason it's a way to try to get you into bed with me," he continued, "For your information, I'm just stating fact. But if you feel the need to prove yourself, go right ahead. If you say that you aren't going to prove yourself, it only shows you have nothing to prove," he finished, staring Annie down with his bright blue eyes, surprised that he was able to keep this going, "And that's really what you should have done a long time ago," he added to her next statement, "I mean, really, I'm just doing it to annoy you. And I've succeeded if you can't help but have something to say each time I try to hit on you."
Suddenly, a strange thought entered his head. Obviously, he was still working on getting Annie to sleep with him, though he would constantly deny this fact. But what if there was a different approach instead of this constant, dirty flirtatious ways he had? Maybe, he could buy her some chocolates and flowers and be all gentleman like an- Oh my god, what the hell was wrong with him!? Why did he even think something that awful?! No matter how much he wanted to sleep with her, he wasn't that desperate. A look of eager anticipation quickly flashed over his face before he was able to contain it, and he hoped Annie hadn't noticed. But how the hell could she say that and expect a man not to get just a bit excited? "I really don't mind. I've had my experience with the flexible type. They're not that hard to come across, actually. So I'd rather take my time on the ones who don't play hard to get," he growled, trying, yet failing, to not show his annoyance of her smug smile. Damn this woman! "Wait, holy crap, that actually makes sense! Wow, why haven't I ever thought of that before? Amazing, truly.." he was actually serious about this. He had never heard of that. Eating dessert before the main course in case the world ended? Trevor was one to think that this was genius, and he had to give the redhead props for that, "Wait.. you could be lying.. see? I could never trust you with anything," he told her, peering closely at her expression to tell if she was lying about this or not. It was weird how one second he could be serious, and the next he could be going on about something as stupid as this. That was Trevor for ya, though.
It was very true that he was constantly contradicting himself, so he really had no good reply to that. Of course, the truth would be yes, but he couldn't tell her that. And straight out saying 'hell no' was just lame, "Well, look at it this way.." he began, trying to stall for time for a good excuse, "I'd have to say that you wouldn't really be worth all the trouble, so, I'd rather just make you the pancakes and be done," what the hell kind of comment was that? He really needed to stop talking out of his ass, though that was never going to happen. Seriously, if he was going to cook her the pancakes, why not screw her too? Then she would be the only one getting something out of it. God, he made no sense sometimes. Well, really, all of the time, "And.. you were getting my hopes up, because the thought of me cooking pancakes was just amazing, since I.. love to cook," At times like this, he really wished he had a filter or some sort of off button. One second he could be owning, and the next he could be failing. He could tell that she, herself, was pressed up against the surface behind her, as was he, so they seemed to be as far away from each other in that amount of space, "So.." he began awkwardly. He really never knew when to shut up, his eyes accidentally traveling down the height of her, then back up again to meet her eyes. Damn, he knew he'd probably be caught doing that, "I like your shirt," he squeaked out, his voice just a bit higher than usual. Oh, that was just embarrassingly awful. It was the only way to keep himself from jumping her again, though.

Annie saw the movement of Trevor's jaw as it clenched his teeth together so hard that it was visible. That was the jaw that she'd not long ago been kissing, and would kiss again, although she'd not admit it to anyone, let alone him. But she'd been dropping fast and many kisses lightly along that well built jaw, and now she was staring at it blankly for a moment and looking like an idiot. Annie snapped her consciousness back into normality, and averted her eyes away from him, settling them on a lollipop stand a few centimetres behind him. They looked nice, actually, she'd have to pick one or two of those up later. Annie smirked as she had a flashback to the first time that she and Trevor had met, and he'd thought at first, that she was a vampire, when she told him that she didn't 'sleep' at all. Of course she was referring to having sex, but he took it in the more literal meaning. Annie reached over to the display next to her, a display that was filled with blood pops. Actually, she had wanted to try them, just to see what they tasted like, and as the saying went, there is no time like the present! She added it to the huge pile that she could barely hold in her hands. At this rate, it would take her all weekend to eat through this candy! But maybe that wasn't such a bad thing, as at least she wouldn't be able to eat it all in one day, that would make her be sick, if the blood pop didn't do that on it's own. "Good, I'm glad that the message is getting through to you"
She said with another smug smile, as she recognised the snappy tone in his voice. She'd annoyed him. Annie realised then that she'd answered too fast, her tone too biting and personal. She'd basically handed him one of her weaknesses on a plate and labeled it, so that he couldn't misinterpret it. Great, now she was sure to get even more pissed off and emotional. "Annie is getting pissed off, and should ickle baby Trevor attempt to continue pissing her off, Ickle baby Trevor will be missing the next four weeks of school, cause Annie will be knocking him into next month" She said, slightly agitated, and now grinding her own teeth, so that no other emotion, apart from anger, could slip out and alert him to a touchy subject. He already knew she was a virgin, wasn't that bad enough? Stupid emotional mouth, one day, she'd so have to learn to control it under immense pressure. "Hmm, wow, you shouldn't take up a career in psychology, you know that? You'd suck at it. Okay, no, you'd just suck in general. I'm actually a very sarcastic and strong person, as I'm sure you can remember from our first meeting, when I made you say, and I quote 'Owwie'. No wonder I thought you were gay" Annie said with a shrug, although a slight smugness at her ability to regain control of herself so quickly did slip through. "Sure I do, and sure you are. So what the hell are all the advances about, huh? Tell me, because I keep saying no to you, does that make you want me more? Like the forbidden fruit, always wanting the one thing that you can't have." Annie said with another smirk, making sure that the first little bit of that sentence came out sarcastically, so that she'd hopefully piss him off even more. If she did, she'd have yet another little win, and that would add to her collection of over a thousand, as she knew that sometimes, his retorts, no matter how good, couldn't match up to hers. Although, and she'd never tell him this either, but he was the only person who'd even got this close to matching her on biting comments and witty retorts, and she had to give him props for that. Mentally though. And she'd never admit it, but he was also one of the people who actually seemed to get her inner issues, and why she hid herself behind courage and strength, because she was a vulnerable girl, and she knew that it was the vulnerable girls who got hurt the most, and she wasn't going to let anyone walk all over her. Especially now, not after Chris. "Oh, and I dragged your could-be-twin into this because he tried, just like you, and he failed, actually saw sense, and moved on. Maybe you should take tips from him" She said with a shrug, replying for once in a casual tone. "I don't feel the need to prove myself to you, and I never will. And I didn't say that I wasn't going to prove myself, although I am not wasting something like that on you" She said, slightly confused by his deduction of this whole situation, and avoiding his eyes slightly because she was lying about that, as she did feel the need to prove herself, but she'd managed to keep her head long enough to know that she wasn't going to. "Annoy me? HA! that's not working, I just reply because I know that I can kick your ass, both with words and with physical action, and you know from experience that both statements are true" Annie said, rolling her eyes, but clenching her jaw slightly, as he'd definitely annoyed her. Annie caught it. That little flash of anticipation, and slightly excitement, and she smirked. She knew that he was most certainly interested in that fact, and probably the fact that she could do the splits, and do the backward bridge thing without having to push herself up from the ground. She could also touch her toes, and used to be able to wrap her leg around her head, but that was a long time ago, and she doubted that she was that good now. Although she could still kick as high as her head, or Trevor's head, if need be. Okay, maybe not, he was quite tall, but that wouldn't stop her from trying just to see how high she could get, but she knew that Honeydukes wasn't the best place for that little experiment. There he went again, demonstrating that rough and manly growl that could be heard in his voice. God why was that so big an attraction? Damn him and his husky tones of voice. "Huh. So why are you still here?" She asked, smirking at the simple, yet true, question. If he wasn't interested, he'd have been gone by now, to find some other willing girl to satisfy his needs for one night at least. And it probably would just be one night, and then they'd never hear from him again. Well to hell with that! If she slept with someone, it wouldn't be like that. Annie raised her eyebrows at his enthusiastic, and seemingly serious reaction to her desert comment. "Please. Why would I lie about that? If I lie, I lie about important things, or things that will annoy people. I wouldn't lie about my desert, it's just what I do" She said simply and seriously, even meeting his eyes because she was telling the truth, and she tended to avoid eye contact sometimes when she was lying, especially if she'd been thrown off her game, like she had not too long ago with that damned amazing kiss. Annie raised her eyebrows as he said she wouldn't be worth it, and then narrowed her eyes as he basically offered just to cook for her. "Wait, so you want to cook me pancakes, with chocolate chips and maple syrup, with nothing in return but my delightful company whilst eating them?" Annie asked, confused, as there was no way that he'd do that without getting something out of it. Maybe he planned on drugging it, like sticking roofies in them or something! God she would so murder him if he tried that, because there would no way that she'd be able to stop him until after...ergh, that thought made her feel sick. Annie hated the idea of forced sex, and she would murder him if she thought that he'd even had that thought! But then, he wasn't all that smart, and he seemed to be just talking randomly and not thinking, which was some sort of technique that he employed often, or so Annie thought, so he hadn't really planned that, had he? No, he wasn't perverted enough to do that at least. Besides, why risk jail for something you can get easily from some chick who threw herself at your feet? He wouldn't. "Oh yes, the thought of you in an apron makes me want to jump on you right now!" She said sarcastically, altough he probably would look hot in an apron, and she already wanted to kiss him again right now, so she wasn't exactly lying, just pretending like she was. Annie let her eyes wander again to his jaw line, and followed it for a second to his lips, where they settled for no more than a moment. Annie swallowed hard as she tore her gaze away, and caught his eyes surveying her body. She rolled her eyes, but it gave her some satisfaction that his eyes, at least, couldn't lie about wanting her. Annie caught his higher pitched voice, and wondered if it was the kiss that had done that. Wow. "Thanks, it's one of my favourites, and one of my favourite colours" She said normally, raising an eyebrow slightly at the thought of them having a normal conversation. With them so far away from each other, Annie was sure that there could be no more space between them. Annie, wanting some sweets that were next to his head, returned her pile to the shelf, and moved a little closer, taking in a breath and biting her lip as she did. She reached out and plucked the bag of sweets from the shelf, and then slowly took a few steps back, breathing out loudly. "I like your hair" She blurted, desperately trying to make it less awkward. [/blockquote] Tagged open Lyrics Brighter - paramore Counted at 1700 Wearing clothes! Trevor couldn't help but notice how, for a moment there, she had seemed to be staring at him blankly. Not at his eyes, but lower, he couldn't quite tell. Or, he was just getting paranoid. She was probably suddenly lost in thought and staring at him while it happened was an accident. He did that often, finding himself in a daydream and staring at someone that had nothing to do with it, only because they happened to be where you were looking. Then they thought you were staring at them and not through them, so it would get a bit awkward. He shook those silly thoughts from his head as he noticed her select some lollipops from a display. Taking a closer look at where she had picked them up, he realized they weren't just ordinary suckers. He turned to look at Annie once more, staring at her like she was an idiot, "You do realize that those aren't, like, cherry flavored or something, right?" he asked, his brows raised, though the thought of cherry flavored anything made his mouth water. He couldn't help but think about the first time they had met, when he had acted like he thought she was a vampire when she stated that she didn't 'sleep around' or something of the sort. If she was, she would have eaten him by now. Especially during that hot kiss, she wouldn't have been able to control her vampire instincts.
He hated the smug smile she would display often, it only adding to the annoyance he felt. Could she not go through her life without making those damned faces at him? It was infuriating, but the fact that he could occasionally have a similar effect on her was worth hanging around and putting up with it. A horrible thought struck him then, realizing that the angrier she got, the more attracted to her he was. That was just horrid. It was the truth, though. She would get all mad and start shooting off insults or threats, with the occasional pissed off expression, "Ha, so I see you seem intimidated by my knowledge. See, I'm not as dumb as you think," he replied slowly, "Going around and threatening people just because they pointed out one of your many flaws that you thought you'd kept hidden, and aren't fooled by your trickery, isn't really the way to go," he continued, leaning against the shelves behind him casually. He was hoping she wouldn't punch him for these accusations, because he was pretty sure she could, "And I'm sure you only act like that because you don't want people getting too close to you, so they can figure out the true, insecure person you are," he finished with his own smug smile now in place. Of course, these were educated guesses he was throwing out there. He knew people like her. They would act all tough and intimidating on the outside, but the truth was, they were really just emotional and fragile. He rolled his eyes slightly when she recalled him saying 'Owwie', "Yeah, well I bet you're taking that back now, huh?" he asked, a hint of smugness in his own tone. He wasn't just going to give up. He never could.
"Because I get bored easily and need to find something to pass the time," he responded easily, "And trust me, I don't want you," he lied yet again, then paused, "Actually, I do want you.. dead," he shrugged slightly, this also being an obvious lie. He kept his expression neutral as another idea suddenly struck him. It was cruel, but he was just in that sort of mood, "But I do have to tell you something that I think you should hear," he began, gazing at Annie intently. He was making this all dramatic, like the idiot he was, "When I heard Chris talking about you, he mentioned that you kissed like a dog and smelled like one too," he stated evenly, successfully keeping the evil smirk from taking over his lips, "I'd have to disagree, though. Unless you've had practice since him or something, I was quite impressed with your.. performance," he explained, his face, strange enough, full of honesty. It wasn't like he was completely lying. He had been impressed, but Chris had never said anything like that. He actually had really never talked to Chris. Was it strange that he had just complimented her? Probably, "And Kaleb doesn't play the same game I do. And anyway, we have a lot of differences," he explained, "I'm just doing this to annoy you, obviously, and he probably had other intentions," he told her, flashing a smile in her direction.
"Really, there's no point in defending yourself. I know that you obviously have nothing to prove, so you can let it go," he smirked, knowing that he had to be pissing her off even more. He wasn't going to just let that end there. Noticing her avoidance of eye contact, he couldn't help but get paranoid that his eyes were horrible to look at. He could have such strange thoughts sometimes. He decided to avert his own eyes to her hair, always finding it somehow fascinating, though he would always poke fun at it. He knew better than to believe that statement, though, because he had been observing her for so long. The slight clench of the jaw didn't help her argument, either, "Uh-huh, I'm sure that's it," he responded sarcastically with a fake nod of his head, "And, the real question should be, why are you still here? I's sure you have better things to do, right?" he asked, his brow raised once more. No matter how many slip ups he made, how many burns she inflicted, or smug smiles she wore, he was not going to back down. Ever. The first person to give in and leave was the loser. He couldn't help but chuckle immaturely, "Actually depending on who your.. desert.. is, you may lie about that, too," he joked, his eyes returning to her own with a goofy grin on his face. He figured, then, that maybe she avoided eye contact for the same reason he did. The eyes always seemed like the doorway to the soul or something. People could know if you were lying just by staring into them, if they knew you well enough. Scary.
"Well, yes, obviously. That's what I said, right?" he responded, realizing how stupid that sounded, "And I would get.. the company of you.. and your comfortable home," he added lamely, "And so we both win," he told her with a small shrug, "I mean, I'm serious. Not just because I want to know where you live, so I can stalk you even more, but just because it sounds like a beastly idea," he added. How could he be serious about this? Maybe, if he was lucky, he could probably end up sleeping with her if he went to her house, anyway. There was a bed there. He could just imagine that they would have today if they weren't in a public sweet shop. Though drugging her pancakes would have been an intelligent idea to get what he wanted, he wasn't that messed up. He actually, strange enough, wanted her to be sober, and conscious, during their activities. He really wanted her to do this under her own will, even if it was due to some crazy teenage hormones, "I look like a sexy beast in an apron, really," he defended, grinning once again. He shifted uncomfortably for a moment, his eyes wandering toward a display of chocolates. Jokingly, he hoped he would get through this day without committing suicide. He turned to look at Annie, forcing his eyes not to stray from her own. He knew she could easily be able to tell if he started checking her out, though that was beyond tempting. Trev was genuinely surprised she hadn't said something sarcastic to his general compliment. It was actually strange that she replied so casually. When she approached him, though, to reach for some candy near him, he literally had to hold his breath, and constantly tell himself not to attack her with his mouth. He glued himself to the spot he was standing in, only to hear her randomly compliment him on his hair, "Well, I like my hair too," he responded awkwardly, letting out his breath and wondering if she was being serious. Then again, his hair was a favorite among the ladies, "And your hair.. is red. Did you know?"

Annie couldn't believe that she'd let her thoughts, and her eyes, rest on his lips for so long. But the thing was, the angrier she was at him, the more she wanted to show him what she was capable of, so that he could stop insisting that she wasn't what she actually was, because she actually was what he was saying she wasn't! And now Annie was also confused, because she'd gotten so lost in thought that she'd even lost track of what she was thinking about in the first place! She watched the look on his face, as if he thought she was stupid or something, and she sighed. "Yes, I do realise that they are blood pops. I want to try them, you got a problem with that? And what are you, cherry obsessed?"
She asked, smiling a little as she realised that he could taste the cherry lip balm, and seemed to be thinking about it. Unless he just picked that out as a random flavour, and it was just a coincidence that it was the exact flavour of the lip balm that she was wearing. Speaking of lip balm, she slipped her hand into her pocket and pulled out the little container, slipping off the lid and winding it up a little, before applying a fresh new lick of cherry flavoured goodness. She loved the taste of that thing, it was her favourite, and she'd always stop in and pick up a few of them when she passed the muggle store, to keep her sorted for the time at Hogwarts. She had like six in a drawer back home, because they'd been on offer in the muggle store she got them from. Annie's hand returned the chap stick back into her pocket, and eyed some candies on the shelf. This place seriously was candy heaven! Annie could see the annoyance in his expression, and deduced that it must be from the smug smile that she'd had on her lips. So that did annoy him! Great, she had something else to use to get back to him, because she'd need it when he actually hit home on something. Woops, like that. "Please! Intimidated, by, and you, should never be in the same sentence, because it would be a lie of epic proportions! And you'd be surprised" She added, smirking. She had been thrown off her game and she was just managing to get back on her horse, but should he come out with something bang on, no doubt that she'd lose it again, if only for a second. But a second was long enough to show weakness, and she wasn't about to show how much of a fragile girl that she could be, especially not to him. "I know I'm flawed, and I don't tend to hide them, because it's the flaws that make me human, and that's what makes me, well, me! And as for not letting people get to close, I do it because I don't want to hurt them, not the other way around" She answered, quite coldly, hating that he'd gotten her spot on. At least she'd managed to stay in control, which was better than before. He was right of course, she did stop people getting close because she hated being seen as a short, vulnerable girl who could be hurt easily, and taken advantage of even more easily. She'd been that for the first few years of her life that she could remember, but after her Nan died, she'd come back this heavily sarcastic and strong girl who kicked ass and stopped people getting to close, because she couldn't bear to lose them once she loved them. "Just because your an alright kisser, doesn't mean that you don't like guys. Guys kiss too, you know, you could have gotten experience from them" She said with a shrug, trying to erase the smugness in his voice. She'd known full well where she'd gotten her experience, it was Chris, and she'd lost him too. "So you come here in a pathetic attempt to annoy me, and then fail miserably. Oh, and of course." Annie retorted, again with emphasis on the sarcasm of the last few words. Did he want her, really? If he did, he didn't seem the type of person who would give up, and frankly, Annie wasn't sure if she wanted him to. You see, this was quite the fun little game, annoying him, getting back at him, and making him squirm under her teasing comments. But the thing was that he wasn't too bad on the eyes either. "Wow. You're a necrophiliac? That's disrespectful, dude! Stay away from the morgue, aright?" She retorted, slowly and deliberately, sounding all serious. Wow, he'd walked into that one! She didn't like the way that he was staring at her at that moment. It was full of intent, and she didn't like it, it usually meant that he'd had an idea or something. "Oh yeah?" She asked, frowning and wondering what the hell was coming next. "Great, yeah, sounds like him" She replied, not believing that this was what Chris had said, as it didn't sound like him. But at the same time, she thought that she'd known Chris, but she had never really, so he could be telling the truth. "Well gee thanks for your review! And why should I tell you my kissing experience?" She asked, narrowing her eyes. What an absolute idiot! But her cheeks coloured slightly at that kind of compliment. He really thought that she was a good kisser? Wow, well that meant something considering all the girls he'd kissed, or guys. "Is it all a game to you? You do know that your messing with the girls emotions right? Nina was in love with you. And what is she to you now? A distant memory? Quit playing with people's lives" She replied shaking her head in anger and disbelief. It was, wasn't it? All a game, something to keep him occupied. She didn't care about that in concern of herself, because she didn't intend on falling in love with this pompous ass, but for the other girls who thought that he'd be there in the morning, well that was just evil! And okay, so it’s their fault, but only partly, because no doubt that Trevor would suggest it would be that way, and then leave them once he got what he wanted. If she ever invited him over and he didn’t make good on his promise, well she’d kill him. "I have things that I could prove to you, but there are some things that I'm not going to give you the satisfaction of experiencing. For example, I can just about do the splits, and I'd prove that, just because I find it amusing to do it. But I'm not going to hop into bed with you to prove that I'm not a nun, because that would be a suckish way to lose my virginity." Annie said, getting angry at the fact that because he said that she had nothing to prove, she wanted more and more to prove that there was something to prove, and that was just even more confusing! She had to get out of here, and soon too! Else she'd end up agreeing to something that she'd regret later. Annie could feel his eyes on her, and noticed that they were on her hair. They were quite pretty too, although the chances of her admitting that she found his eyes, lips, or any other part of him mildly attractive was slim to none, because she wasn't about to give him something to be smug over, as she hated his smug and slightly sexy smile, because it indicated that he'd had a minor win. She knew that she should leave, but she wasn't going to back down, because it would be taking a loss if she walked away first. "I'm still here because I'm contemplating buying my own weight in chocolate, going home, melting it all, and then drowning myself in a chocolate bath" She mused aloud randomly, replying quite fast, and presenting a tempting mental image to him, to see what his reaction was. "Your right, I'm a blood sucking vampire. The reason that I've not invited you around is because I just don't think that you'll taste good" She joked, laughing a little, but then stopping herself. He was not about to make her laugh. Although that goofy grin was cute. No. Nothing about Trevor was cute. He could be hot, but he could be a complete and utter asshole most of the time too! "Okay then. Sunday. What're you doing Sunday at eleven?" She asked, kinda confused as to why he was asking to cook for her. Just cook for her. It didn't make sense really considering the vibe that she'd been getting from him before. "I live in the apartments, number 23. Stalk me and I'll kill you." She added, still eying him suspiciously. What the hell was he up to? Maybe he thought that if he went there he'd end up sleeping with her. Yeah, okay, that was about to happen! Even Annie's thoughts were sarcastic these days! What was with that grin? How could she find it so oddly hot? "I guess we're testing that theory" She said, still unsure of what she'd just agreed to. he was going to cook her pancakes. Just cook her pancakes. With maple syrup and chocolate chips and everything. Okay this was just odd. Annie's eyes met his, and she heard his intake of breath. It seemed that he was having the same problem that she was then. Wow, that was crazy, to think that he was tempted by her. Annie laughed a little again, an honest laugh when he added that her hair was red. "No way! Why didn't somebody tell me? I never knew that before!" She said, sarcastic and smiling as ever. Well this day was weird. Okay, she had to go before it got weirder. And besides, she was sure that she'd left ice cream out on the counter, and it was Ben and Jerry's so she didn't want it to melt. "So listen, I gotta go. my two best friends are melting on my table top and I gotta go rescue them. Shame I'm not wearing my superman hoody!" She replied with a grin, but still didn't move. What was she waiting for? [/blockquote] Tagged open Lyrics Brighter - paramore Counted at 1745 Wearing clothes! You should know that it's okay, it's awesomeness was worth the wait haha it's quite long again, I'm really sorry! I think I'll make Annie leave in the next one, and then new thread me thinks? I'll even start it cause I'm feeling museful Credited to me.

Trevor eyed the blood pops for a moment, "No!" he replied quickly to her cherry accusation, his voice going just a tad bit higher than usual. His tongue flicked across his lips quickly, and he could still taste the cherry flavor that was left there, "But yes, I do have a problem with that, actually. Why would you want to try those? That's just... nasty," he told her, visibly cringing. He hated when his own mouth bled, because it tasted just awful, "I mean, it's blood," he pointed out the obvious, "So.. it probably tastes like blood," he concluded, "Is it just another thing you want to do to make yourself look hardcore?" he couldn't help but ask with a small smirk. His eyes instantly followed the cherry lip balm she was applying to her lips just then, and he could actually feel his mouth watering. He really needed to get it together, or he was going to have a mad break down. Act casual, act casual.. he thought to himself, dragging his eyes away from her lips, in fear she had noticed his new obsession.
Annie could be quite believable, he noticed, when she spoke so coldly like that. For a moment, he actually did believe her, but maybe it was all a cover up. Who would actually admit to something like that, anyway? She knew it would probably make her look weak in front of him, and she didn't want to admit to, or expose, her weaknesses. It was understandable, especially coming from a girl like her, so he decided that there was truly no point in continuing on with this, since he had already stated what needed to be said. There was nothing more to it, and there truly was no point in egging her on until she broke his neck, since that wouldn't be such a win for him. There were certain things he would bug her about, but he decided to let this drop, "Well, whatever you say, then," he responded with a small shrug, obviously showing that he didn't fall for her excuses. Deciding to ignore the rest of that little comment of hers, he decided to elaborate on the beginning of her sentence, "So you admit that I'm an alright kisser?" he asked, his small smirk still in place, disguising his excitement. Yes, he was actually celebrating on the inside that she had admitted that he was an 'alright' kisser, though he knew there had to be more than that, "I'm sure I'm better than Chris, though," he added smugly.
"For your information, it was not a 'pathetic attempt', nor was it a 'fail'. I give it my all, and am damn well successful, thank you very much. Don't act like I don't get under your skin," he responded icily, snatching some more 'every flavored beans' that were near by him, adding it to his collection on the shelf. He paused and turned to stare at her for a moment. He should have known she would twist that comment into something dirty, "Really?" he shook his head slightly, trying to hold in his amusement, "And I though I was the immature one.." he trailed off with a small shrug, "But, truthfully, I prefer them alive.. Unless they're a vampire or something. I mean, they have to be moving, and have the ability to moan," he explained, smirking once again. Observing her carefully, he couldn't quite tell if she had fallen for his tale, "Well, I do believe I should be hearing a 'thank you' or something like that," he prompted, awaiting those very words. Of course, he should have known she wouldn't say something like that. And there she goes again, trying to make him feel all guilty, which worked. He dragged his eyes away from her and toward his pile of candy once more, avoiding eye contact. This topic was truly pissing him off, and she probably knew that by now, too. Taking a deep breath, he turned to glare coldly at her, "First of all, what I do and who I do is absolutely none of your business," his voice had turned into a growl yet again, "Nina was.. silly, to say the least. She doesn't know what the hell love is, and neither do you," he spat, "Let's just get something clear here. Love is like God. It's not real. People just came up with this stupid little thing to entertain themselves, and now it's spread across the world and clouded people's minds. What they're feeling isn't.. love. It's an illusion," he argued, "No matter how much you want it, or how true it feels, it's never real. It's just a figment of your imagination," he stopped there, realizing he had just poured out some things he never thought he would admit to people, especially not Annie. He had gone off on a rant, which normally only happened if he had very strong feelings about a certain topic.
He took a deep breath, calming himself down, in order not to start throwing things around the shop in his built up anger. He hated how he could so easily get worked up about something like that. He rolled his eyes, though couldn't deny that her ability to do the splits only amplified his need to get her in bed. He truly was a messed up guy, "Sure, I believe that you can do the splits, and other.. things. That, you don't need to prove to me, since it's honestly not too rare to stumble upon someone who can do that," he admitted, the only real reason being he'd probably freak out if he actually saw her get all flexibly amazing right in front of him, "But I really don't understand why you seem so against my previous offer. I mean, you really can't get any better than that. It would be all hot and heavy, too, since we hate each other. That just makes it all the more enjoyable," though he was still worked up about his previous rant, he was able to smirk once more after that sentence, "Really, what are you waiting for? Or who, for that matter? You say you don't believe in the little fairy tale scenarios, then fine. But it's going to be in your house, in your bed, then breakfast the next morning. It seriously doesn't get much better than that," he explained. He paused and had to control his expression as to not give away how truly amazing her description sounded. A chocolate bath? "Damn, better yet, we could just enjoy ourselves in that chocolate bath. Then it really doesn't get any better than that," he explained, nodding his head slowly at just the thought, with that childish grin lighting up his face once more. It was like a kid at Christmas time, "And I'm doing this for you, not me," he lied, trying, yet again, to make it sound like he wasn't interested in sleeping with her. He rolled his eyes to the ceiling, knowing that he would probably taste good to any vampire, though it would probably be a hotter experience if she actually was one. Noticing her small laugh, that was stopped shortly, he had to keep himself from laughing, barely succeeding.
Trev stared at her for a moment, wondering if she was serious. Sure, it was just the whole 'cooking pancakes' deal, but if it went how it did in this little shop, he would be surprised if he didn't end up sleeping with her. Or maybe he was getting just a bit too cocky. She had knives there and everything. She could do tons of damage if he made a move on her that she didn't appreciate. But still, it was worth it, "Well, let's see here.. I usually have a busy schedule," he lied, "But I think that sounds delicious," he could be so stupidly cheesy sometimes, he even disgusted himself. His grin grew wider when she told him where she lived, beginning a little celebration on the inside, "Well, you better have all the ingredients, because I'm not in the mood for shopping, unless it's to find an apron that says 'big daddy' or something," he responded, "I actually have one of those at home.. Which is five trillion miles away, so that's a shame.." he trailed off with a small shrug. It was actually his dads, but since he thought it was hilarious, he used it all the time. He took a deep breath to try to calm himself, though he was pretty angry that he could be so obvious sometimes. He didn't want her to know how much he wanted her anymore. He liked the thought of her thinking that he wasn't interested at all. Her getting closer to him never helped, "Yeah, I though, um, that I would let you know.. Because I'm nice like that," he explained, able to keep the goofy grin on his lips this time. What the hell was that supposed to mean? Her two best friends were melting on her table top? "That sounds painful. You shouldn't treat your friends like that," he responded lamely, "Wait, you have a superman hoody? I totally have one too! That's.. that's kinda weird.. Is that weird? I think it's weird.." he babbled, realizing he was still standing there. Well, who the hell cared who left first? It didn't matter now that he had a 'pancake cooking' date with her later. Wait, did he just call it a date? Cue the 'throw up in your mouth a little', "Well, then, I will.. see you later," he added awkwardly, scooping up his goodies from off of the shelf and cradling them in his arms. He stood there, staring at her, only managing to make the situation more awkward.

Annie smirked as he answered a little too fast for her to believe him. Okay, so he had noticed the cherry lip balm, and she wasn't just imagining his fixation with cherry now. Wow, had she really had that much of an impact on him that he worshipped her lip balm flavour as his new favourite flavour? She had got to him! She just raised an eyebrow to his fast insistence that she was wrong, deciding that it didn't even need mentioning that she didn't believe him, as her look said it all! "I just like trying new things. within reason, of course"
She amended her sentence, knowing that otherwise he'd use that open sentence as a new way to proposition her. "NO WAY! I thought they called it blood pops because they tasted like vanilla!" She said sarcastically, enthusing on the 'no way!' part, just to get her point across that this was in fact a stupid thing to point out. Although it was Trevor speaking, so Annie wasn't very surprised. Annie noticed the look in his eyes when she applied the cherry tasting lip balm and it added to the thought that he had indeed noticed and liked that flavour! She couldn't help but smirk at this. It still surprised her of how much of an impact she must have had on him, because he was licking his lips and looking as if he’d buy out every cherry flavoured thing within reach in a second, and that was because of her. And considering that he was meant to have kissed a whole lot of girls, and Coal Kendall too, she must have been pretty good! Chris had said that she’d picked up kissing fast. There it was again, a knot in the centre of her stomach whenever Chris’ name was mentioned or even thought about. Annie thought that she'd made him believe her, if only for a moment, but the tone in his voice when he responded, it gave her the impression that he didn't but was just letting it pass. She was thankful for that too, because she didn't want to show herself as weak to him, because that would be it, and he'd find a way to take advantage of her, and she disliked that idea even more than being called a whore. And that did get to her a lot, even though she refused to admit it to anyone. "Well yeah, maybe. I mean it could be worse, at least your not a washing machine. That would be bad" She said, mentally scolding herself for openly adding to his ego and complimenting his kissing style, which was better than alright if she was telling the truth. But she wasn't about to admit to him how much she enjoyed their little embrace. "And okay, I'll admit to that one, but only because I'm on better terms with you than I am with him, and that's saying something" She said, shocked herself that she did see herself as on better terms with this guy that she hated than Chris, who she loved. it was a messed up world alright! "Okay, you do manage to annoy me with that attitude of yours, but I know full well that I get under your skin even more. My sarcasm and my smirk does it for you, am I right?" She retorted, crossing her arms as if defending herself. She did get under his skin, that was clear to her! She was pretty sure that the two things that she’d mentioned had been the things that did it too. "Just because my mind isn't as clean as my apartment, doesn't mean that I'm immature." Annie answered, deciding that she probably should tidy up a bit later too, especially if he was coming around soon. "Lovely, so you need them to moan as reassurance that you are as good as you think?" she retorted cleverly with a smug smile on her face. Wow, she'd just called him insecure too! "that remains to be seen" She answered in response to the thank you comment. She wasn't going to thank him until she knew that he was telling the truth. Wow, he was up himself if he believed that she believed him! "I know. I know love doesn't exist, I know that everyone in your life will set you up for a fall, and I know that love is something we all wish was real. but there's no fairytale ending, no end credits with a cheery song. Love is nothing but a cruel prank played by imagination" Annie retorted, for the first time ever agreeing with him. Okay, maybe ever was a bit dramatic, but that wasn't the point. Even more than that, for the first time she was repeating what she’d thought for a long time, but she’d hoped that she’d be proved wrong, that love did exist, and that she’d be lucky enough to find it and keep it through her lifetime. She’d given love a chance, but it really couldn’t exist, because all it was is a thought, and a thought that had hurt her more than a Bludger when she played Quidditch. The truth was that Annie could get infinitely passionate and angry on any topic that interested her, and love was one of those things. She could scream and yell and shout, because she'd thought it was real, and had been proven wrong, and acted like a fool because of it. She hated anything that made her feel so amazing, just to have you fall again, it was like promising a kid the key to the candy store, and then making sure that the locks were changed. Evil and full of expectation that would lead to a giant let down. "Well I can do that. I can also do a load of other things, yes, and it's a good job you don't need me to prove them to you because I won't." Annie replied, a little confused as to why he'd admitted that, because surely he would...ah she was done trying to get inside his mind, it would just mess her up so much more. Annie shifted at the suggestion, because in fairness it did sound appealing, and with what had just happened, it was bound to make her feel as alive as that did. "I...don't...know. Just someone who makes me feel like...it doesn't matter. Why should I make excuses to you? I said no and that's it." She retorted, angry that he'd had her stumble over her words for a moment. But he'd asked a valid question! Why? Who? She'd said someone she trusted, but who would she learn to trust before she was forty, especially thanks to the highlighted trust issues that she so clearly denied. "Your presumptious! And I said my first time was going to be in a bed, idiot, not a bath. Clean out your ears" Annie retorted shaking her head slightly. "So what, you think your doing me a favour or something, do you? Really?" She asked, raising her eyebrows on the last word. "You know that we both know that that isn't exactly true" She said with a shrug. She was too perceptive to think that he wasn't excited about the idea of being with her. Annie didn't mind him coming to the apartment, because she could think over the days until Sunday about what she really wanted. And if he tried anything, she had knives, so it was all good! And a wand to ensure that she did some damage to him if he did something that she didn't appreciate. Like burning down her kitchen or trying it on with her for example. "Your pancakes better not be as cheesy as what you just said" She said with raised eyebrows, laughing again. Why? Why was she laughing? Seriously? did she not realise that it was Trevor? She stopped herself from laughing and frowned slightly, wondering what the hell was going on with her. Stupid hormones. "I always stock chocolate chips in case of an emergency, and of course I have pancake stuff, they're possibly one of my favourite things for breakfast. Whoever invented pancake day is a God." She returned with a small shrug, knowing that she had everything he'd need. Even a nice apron, if he wanted to lend it! It was pink and frilly, and an apartment warming gift from her parents. A joke one, because Annie was as far from the housewife as you could ever get. "Yeah. Thanks." She said, rolling her eyes, but she couldn't help but smiling. DUDE! "Ben and Jerry don't mind, and they're probably going to get eaten too, later" She said with a smirk, only then realising how wrong that sounded. WOW. "Yeah I do! I saw it and knew I had to have it, so I bought that, and it‘s possibly weird, maybe. " She rambled uncontrollably. "Yeah, laters" Annie said with a shrug, crossing to the counter and paying for her sweets then heading home. What an interesting day!
