CAUSE YOU'RE THE ONE FOR ME ( and i'm the one for you. you take the both of us and we're the perfect two. ) • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • JOSHUA was unbelievably nervous. He couldn't believe what he was going to do, but he knew that he wanted it to happen now. He couldn't wait any longer, just in case. He didn't know what his family was capable of doing, but if there was anything about Jas that they suddenly found out about and thought that she was no longer good enough, well, they wouldn't let the wedding go ahead, and Josh was not losing Jaslene. Too many people had already lost the one that they loved. Well. Ok, more recently it was Evie and Sam. To be honest, the guy seemed pretty decent. He was pure blood, he was making his own money, and he seemed to have a decent personality, you know, when you really try and talk to him. But then, look where working in a shop had gotten him. That was probably the only thing that let him down, and so he'd ended up getting killed. He wasn't letting anything like that happen to Jas. He loved her too much, and he wasn't going to end up like Evie, holding back tears every second of the day. It was tearing her apart. He'd not asked her to come today in fear that she couldn't handle it. He had sent a letter to Chris to make sure that he got here, because he wanted his best man at his wedding, of course.
YOU see, not wanting to wait any longer, just in case, Joshua had booked them into a registry office in London, and had told Jas the previous day what his plans were. He wanted to make it a surprise, but then he figured that she wouldn't turn up in her dress, and that would kind of ruin the moment, and so after trying to find a way to steal the dress without her noticing and him failing miserably to come up with any way that this was possible, he'd decided just to tell her. He was nervous at first of course, and he'd tripped a little over his explination, but he'd managed to explain in a coherant way, and so the date was set. He'd organised to meet Izzy in the house at a certain time, and had transported her by side along Apparation to London with him. He was so nervous it was unreal. He was shaking. He didn't know if he could do this. Wait. No, this was now his idea. He had to do this. He wanted to do this. He was in love with Jaslene, and he was ready to make her his wife. That seemed so final though. But then, he didn't feel like he'd ever love anyone else ever again. But then he was willing to bet that Evie felt the same way, but now she didn't have any choice. He was going to make sure that he needn't love anyone else again, because he'd always have Jaslene with him.
SUCKING in a breath, Josh stood at the front near the registrar, and tried to keep breathing. This was scarier than he thought he'd be. He'd only invited a few people, and less surprisingly, his parents weren't here. He didn't want them around, nor Maria or Clifford. They'd destroyed their own daughters life right now, and that was enough. Today was going to be positive, he was determined that it would go well. "Chris? If I try and run. For Merlin's sake, petrify me. I'm so nervous it's unreal."
he added, turning towards his best man, pale as a sheet. Why was he so nervous? Today was the day that he'd secure Jaslene as his wife. Then it was signed and sealed. They would spend forever together. He loved her. That was all that mattered, right? It was just an outward sign of that. He took another breath and smiled. "This is it, mate, this is it" he said, his grin on his face and colour returning to his cheeks. He just needed to realise that it was going to happen anyway, and he really wanted it to happen today. He wanted everyone to know that he and Jaslene were in it together. Forever. Love, love is a verb
Love is a doing word Chris had literally read the letter he had been sent about an hour before he had to be there, lets just say there was a lot of rushing about and falling over himself, but he was ready now. He'd been there with josh for a little while now, he was as nervous as Josh was, well not that nervous but he was kind of nervous, he wasnt even sure why. "your telling me, I'm nervous for you" he said, he'd always thought on a wedding day you should be your most brave and there should be hardly any nerves and maybe the nerves he had was him thinking forward to his own wedding, it was like the ultimate commitment and sure he'd like to get married someday it was still a very mind wrecking concept.
"Yeah, this is it.." he said gulping slightly, Chris felt strange, he didnt like it, his stomach was all fluttery, maybe it was the thought of Jaslene getting married, he had known her for his entire life and she was like a sister, but he couldnt think of anyone better for her to marry then Josh so maybe that wasnt it and it was something else completely. What's wrong Chris he thought looking across at Josh "If i start crying.. just kill me." he said looking serious for a moment then letting out a laugh. In his head he had little visions of Josh and Jas' future together, they would have kids someday and Chris would teach them how to do naughty things and annoy their parents. He looked forward to that. Fearless on my breath. Wearing: Outfit Comment: Lyrics: Teardrop - Newton Faulkner Credit: Me

cause this is the real thing , love changes everything * ( THIS IS THE NIGHT WHEN EVERY HEART'S EXPLODING! ) today was the day that was probably going to make her the happiest this year. truthfully it might be the happiest day for a while. alexandra was usually a optimistic person, not having much in her life to complain about. she grew up in a nice home, with rich parents, who were the reason she met her best friend because they were friends with his parents. not only that, she went to the best school for witches and wizards to continue her education in magic and to become a better witch. but there were not many days like this that came a long in a lifetime. joshua dalton was the reason for this light mood. josh, alex's best friend, was getting married and she was invited to stand by him as he went through one of the most important moments in his life.
alex and josh met when they were both very young and ever since that moment, they had been quite close. they would play childish games and do almost everything they were able to together. even when they weren't supposed to, they would sneak out to see each other. they were practically inseperable, until alexandra started attending hogwarts. she would try to see him when she could, but the only sure times to see josh was during christmas break and summer. she made a lot of friends at hogwarts, but no one could replace josh. it was a wonder they weren't put into an arranged marriage, as much time as they spent together, but she was thankful for that though. she loved josh, but not in that way. it was more of a brother-sister love. anyways, it wasn't until her seventh year at hogwarts that the dalton children started attending the school. she was confused as to why the daltons decided to send their kids to hogwarts. three of them were only going to be there a year. the rest of them had more time, but still the timing in the decision was weird.
walking into the area josh was, she smiled as she approached him and chris. she had also known chris for a while. he was an interesting, but nice person and she enjoyed being around him as well. before she reached her friend she stopped for a moment and looked him up and down. "well, don't you just look handsome." she said, now walking up to give him a hug. "congratulations joshua. you don't know how happy i am for you." she was very happy for her friend. jaslene was a good person, and seemed quite perfect for him. she couldn't have picked a better person for josh than jaslene. if anyone tried to come between these two, she would beat them to death. she then turned to chris with a smile. "hello christopher. it is nice to see you. you look very handsome dressed up as well."

If this was supposed to be the happiest day in her life, why was she about to throw up? Unless, wait, it wasn’t possible to be literally sick with excitement, was it? It would certainly explain how someone came up with the phrase. Oh, yes, this was clearly normal. On her wedding day, she wasn’t thinking about the ceremony, the guests or whatever else, the thing occupying her mind was the etymology of certain words. Was he as nervous as she was? A part of her really hoped so, even though it didn’t sound a good thing to wish. It was easily explained by wanting some reassurance that it wasn’t just her overreacting. And in this particular situation, overreacting was an understatement. She was surprised she hadn’t flung herself on the floor and refused to let go of the table nearby. It might have seemed childish, but she was still very young. Sure, she was of age, according to the wizarding world, and she was approaching her eighteenth birthday, but a part of her still felt overwhelmed by how fast this had all happened. She was seventeen, and she was getting married. On this very day. And she couldn’t back out. Not that she wanted to. She loved Joshua Dalton, and she did want to marry him. It was just the process of getting herself there, without running off in a panic. Luckily, she had the company of others to convince her she could do this. If she had been thinking rationally, she would have realised this for herself. But, today, her head wasn’t thinking in its usual way.
Of course, if she had a deep enough desire to know what he was thinking, she would have attempted to learn Legilimency, merely for this one purpose. Obviously, if she’d taken the time and effort to learn that ability, she would use it for more important issues, but at the moment all she could think about was him. Unfortunately her father had only implanted in her the same knowledge of Occlumency that he had gained from his aunt. While this was a valuable skill, it didn’t help her to guess what he might be thinking, in fact it only stopped other people guessing what she was thinking and feeling, although a blind man could probably guess what she was currently thinking. No, it was simple enough. If she managed to soothe her brain and reach a reasonable level of sanity, she’d lose this overbearing sense of fear. Smoothing down the crease in her clothing, nearest to her left hand, she took a deep breath in and slowly released it, feeling a mood of calm wash over her, something that was nothing short of relieving. She could do this. She wanted to do it, and she was going to go through with it. She wasn’t going to risk anything coming between them, especially with the drama that was currently unfolding around them. Standing up, she allowed her dress to reach its full length, and took a few small steps forward into the building standing before her.
Now this all seemed so foolish. She was making this into a big deal, for what? She’d made it here, and she knew she’d have regretted it forever if she hadn’t turned up today. And now she examined the area, there was nothing scary about the situation. She wasn’t about to stand there and deny that she wasn’t somewhat nervous, as she didn’t entirely know what to expect, but she was instantly comforted by the sight of several individuals she recognised. Suddenly her face lit up, clearing her mind of all concerns she’d had. Etymology didn’t even cross her mind. Who’d have ever thought that the scrawny little blonde girl that she had been would be married just sixteen years later? Definitely not her. She was still enamoured with the dress that she was wearing, it was one that she couldn’t imagine herself ever wearing. And yet, this one man had, by complete chance, come along and thrown the bitchiness aside and changed her life for the better. She was having thoughts that she never imagined herself being able to have, and feelings that made her with happiness buzz inside. A small grin crossed her face as she made her way towards the area where they were waiting. “Merlin, Chris, you could have made an effort,”
she commented, giving him a glance before her eyes sought Josh’s. This was it. He alone was the reason she wasn’t scared. He could make her melt without saying anything. And she’d do anything to keep things just the way they were. Today was the day. Joshua, Isabella's older brother, was getting married to Ms. Jaslene Malfoy. Izzy was excited for her brother. She knew Jaslene very well, in fact she had become like a sister to Isabella, so she knew that Jas was the best choice for her brother. She also knew how to keep him in line, which was good, because her brother could be off the chain sometimes. All in all, Isabella could not wait for them to get married, neither could she wait for them to have a baby, but she wouldn't say that out loud. That might be just a little bit awkward for them. It was more of the fact she wanted to be an aunt, and to help take care of it. Their baby was going to be so precious.
Anyways, Izzy met her brother, after she was ready, to leave for london where there was a place the two would get married. Josh apparated himself and her to the place. She looked around and then took a seat. She watched her brother and his actions. It was easy to tell he was nervous. She felt kind of bad for him, but at the same time, she knew he would get over it. He loved Jaslene and even if he had the urge to run, he wouldn't. It also wasn't long before Chris walked in, so she knew he would keep him calm. "Hello Chris." She said, waving and smiling.
Chris was one of her good friends, and one of Josh's best friends, a long with Alex, who walked in next. Josh and Alex had been friends since they were little. She got along with her too, but she wasn't as close with her as Josh was. She also waved to her with a smile, and watched as she hugged her brother and talked to the boys. She was mostly anticipating the moment Jas would walk in. She knew she was going to look beautiful.
When Jaslene did indeed walk into the room, Isabella got up and walked over to her, her face lit up. "Jaslene, you look absolutely gorgeous!" She told her soon to be sister in law. She couldn't wait for this to be over, so the two of them could be happy, and there would be nothing the Dalton adults could do about it.
