she asked, an amused expression appearing as she raised her eyebrows. "Hey to you to by the way" she added jokingly, leaning up and pressing a quick kiss to his lips. That was random. Why had she done that?[/blockquote][/blockquote]Annie was excited, to say the least, although she was doing a flawless job of hiding it, but then she did have to keep stopping herself from smiling. It was a Saturday, and Annie was heading down to the village to meet Trevor and go shopping. She'd stayed in the castle Friday night because to be honest she was shattered and she couldn't face the short walk back, she just wanted to collapse, and she knew if she had gone home she wouldn't have done that essay, which was now sitting, complete, under her bed ready for class on Monday, when it had to be handed in. She'd never done a homework that early in her life, this was something new for her, but hey, there always had to be a once, right? That was her one time. Anyway, her eyes were nicely hidden behind her colourful sunglasses, which still amused and interested her, and she'd actually gone into thinking what she'd wear today, ending up in a mix of read and white, because she had a new jacket on. New being one of the ones that her parents sent her at Christmas that she was wearing for like the second time today, but there we go, it was still new to her, considering the time's she'd worn it. Although, being around Trevor was still new to her too because it was so interesting seeing what topics they'd get on to. He wasn't a comfy pair of old man slippers that could be relied upon, but he was the exciting slippers that she'd traded him for the glasses, interesting, exciting and different. Spending time with him had become one of the highlights of her week, and if you'd told her that a few months ago, she'd have laughed in your face. If you'd have asked her that now she still would have laughed, but only to hide the truth because she didn't want him to get smug, cocky, or even worse, freak out and run away.
Annie's feet hit the cobbled streets and she grinned knowing that she wasn't too far away. She'd arranged to meet him outside the three broomsticks, and then they could talk about where they'd go shopping, because she didn't know whether a magical animal store was the best choice, or a normal one was. Either way, she was covered because she'd packed equal amounts of both currencies in her bag, ready for anything that they decided to do. By the time her feet had carried her to the door, she was already thinking up pet names, but couldn't come up with anything good and decided, even if it was just for a laugh, to ask Trevor if he had any ideas. He was sure to come up with some that would amuse them at least, and that would give them a giggle. She made a mental note to tell him that she'd sent that letter to her parents, telling them that she wanted to know as soon as a barbeque came up. They were back home now off their last holiday, probably all tanned up and stuff, and she had gotten over the envy, because to be honest, she was sure that there would have been people she'd missed to much if she'd gone away for as long as they had, although she'd never name any names, apart from Zak and Jas, who were amazing to her, and she loved dearly. Although both were Slytherin students, so you'd never assume that this Gryffindor would go near them, but they were actually pretty nice people, and to top it off, Jas was happily married to the love of her life, Josh, and Annie was amazingly happy for both of them.
As she stepped closer to the door, she walked into someone, she sighed and was about to go off on a little mini rant, but realised that she didn't care, and was too excited to bother. She looked up then to see that it was Trevor, and her lips had already pulled into a warm smile. "Trying to run a girl over, huh?"
