The wedding had been absolutely beautiful. Joshua had looked happier than she'd ever seen him before and, with a stunning young woman on his arm who had formerly been a Malfoy, it wasn't difficult to see why. He was determined to make all the right choices and, when they decided the time was right, be a better father than the one he had been dealt. In fact it was the poor standard of Andrew and Priscilla's parenting that had given Gwyneth no choice but to come to Dalton Estate in person and collect her grandchildren's belongings. There was no chance on this Earth that she would leave them in the care of two such incompetent people and it wasn't even incompetence - it was cruel and it was illegal by any standards.
After having set up a portkey for Joshua, Bethany and Isabella at the wedding to take them to her home in Wales. It wasn't anywhere as near as grand as the Daltons' home but it had it's own glamour. It was more cosy than jaw-dropping and there was much less of an echo as each room had a purpose rather than just being there. Gareth had stayed home with a suitcase for him and each of his siblings hidden in his room. The plan was simple - Gwen would arrive and request to speak to the youngest of her grandchildren. She would make another porkey in his room and take him away from the monsters that were in parents, one of whom she was ashamed to say she had raised. She had never thought for one second that her own daughter would use the Cruciatus curse on her family but apparently Gwyneth didn't know Priscilla at all as well as she thought she did.
With a wave of her kaya wand, the dress she had worn for the wedding was transformed into a different dress, this time with a coat by the same designer and a scarf. Gwen apparated to Dalton Estate before walking up to the front door, pressing a finger to the doorbell. It was then that she remembered what her grandson had told her had happened here about his cousin's boyfriend being murdered on the doorstep. Another reason the children couldn't continue to live here. When the door was opened, she let herself in, walking a short distance into the hall before turning around to face the person who had granted her entry. "Priscilla." Gwyneth cast a glance over her daughter in a clearly disappointed manner. That was something she would admit to having passed on to her daughter - the way she looked down her nose at other people was almost identical to Gwen's. "I shalln't bother giving you my coat, I won't be staying for long."
This post was written by Vicky as Gwyneth Clarke. The lyrics are from Who Knew by P!nk and the images are of Helen Mirren. The post was written for the Daltons and is 463 words long. Gwen is wearing this outfit and I'd just like to add that 2011 better be better than 2010.

priscilla ava dalton was prideful about everything she could be. she was proud of her house, of the amount of pure blooded children that she'd brought into the world, and also about the way that she kept herself. she always dressed well, keeping her hair in a perfect shape and always as she wanted it. her make up was something that she'd take hours to do, if the occasion called for it, she planned an outfit for any big occasion, and she was always looking amazing. she had hopefully influenced her children to dress well too, because appearances mattered hugely in the wizarding world, just like it did in the muggle world, and she wouldn't have her family running around in rags. it had been a slow day at the tea store, and although it had been made a little more eventful by a visit from some of her acquaintances, nothing out of the ordinary had happened. her waitress had been working there for long enough now that she no longer was the clumsy, useless worker that she'd been at the start. all in all, things were pretty average. once she'd closed up shop, (early, because as the owner she could do that.) priscilla had apparated herself home, and had just gotten through the door, when she heard her doorbell go. priscilla sighed, and neglecting to put down her bag, she turned on her very expensive heels and coiled her hand around the handle of the door, tugging it open.
priscilla was already stood tall, as proud as can be, and her tongue was ready to scold whoever it was that hadn't even given her the time to relax before they bothered her. they better have a bloody good reason for interrupting me she cursed mentally, before she saw a wave of black stroll past her as if she owned the place. that could only mean one thing. "mother. How delightful to see you"
priscilla spoke, although no such delight as she professed showed in her voice. priscilla hid her gladness that her mother wasn't staying long. priscilla didn't have time to talk to her mother right now, she had better things to be doing, for instance, ensuring that her children weren't stepping out of line, and, next on the list, having a bath and relaxing. she wanted to get the smell of tea from her nose. you know, a glass of wine sounded just delightful too, as after working with tea all day, the last thing she wanted was a cup as soon as she came home. no, a glass of red wine and a lovely warm bubble bath would do the job brilliantly, thank you very much. and then maybe she would spend some time with her husband, asking him her usual questions. how's the day going for you, how was work, has the headmaster spoken any more about his plans for world domination, you know, the usual questions that you'd greet your husband with after a day at work. "Well then, is there something that i can help you with, so that we don't keep you too long?" she asked, only really wanting her mother to go so she could get on with her own plans.[/blockquote][/blockquote] hey, this is emma as priscilla ava dalton and this post is for gwen, priscilla and andrew. the lyrics are from after the storm by mumford and sons and the post is 539 words long. i'd just like to add that if another staff member wanted priscilla for this thread, just let me know (; oh, and priscilla's wearing this. and the template was by emma of ach
