Clothes: HereIf it was any consilation, Coal was far from being bored like usual, infact he was just simply walking around like he normally did. He had his guitar swung over his shoulder though, like a walking groupie. He thought he might play for some people. He stood in the middle of a regular street on the sidewalk, looking less then important. He sighed watching muggles pass him by without even a thought. He went to the nearest step leading up to a house and swung his guitar onto his lap.
With blood shot eyes I watch you sleeping The warmth I feel beside me is slowly fading
He was already doing the normal routine of just strumming and as a song filtered through his head. Coal was just overly spontanous. It worked for him though so it wasn't really a problem.
Would she hear me if I called her name? Would she hold me if she knew my shame?
People stopped for a few moments listening, most were to in a hurrry. However there were some of the blessed few who stopped and crowded around. A little girl sat on the step with him as she watched his fingers play across the strings.
Your tears don't fall, they crash around me Her conscious calls, the guilty to come home Your tears don't fall, they crash around me Her conscious calls, the guilty to come home
These were muggles, maybe perhaps, but that didn't change anything, they weren't some random creature, infact wizards were the creatures, muggles were normal human beings not blessed to have something to make their lives ten times easier. Coal found nothing wrong with them, he loved everyone one of them, even if he was a pureblood, and ontop of that, a former slytherin. He didn't want to hear the names, mudblood, half breed, muggle, he just wanted things to be all the same and wonderful, but that would never happen it would seem. However life was just not that easy.
The moments die, I hear no screaming The visions left inside me are slowly fading Would she hear me if I called her name? Would she hold me if she knew my shame?

Once again it was a boring and long day for the Nott family, nothing was happening and as far as Tori was concerned; nothing would. The amount of times she'd walked through every room in the house was countless, and she was certain her father was getting fed up of her walking through the library all the time when he was sat in there reading. Then there was her mother, every time she walked through the kitchen, she wouldn't even break her concentration with the dishes, which caused Tori to chuckle every now and again. Every man would say, 'a women's place is in the kitchen' which was partly right in some marriages, but in her opinion her mother only was in the kitchen when dishes needed to be washed and put away. Every marriage had its ups and downs, and hopefully she didn't get herself into a heartless marriage like many others did. It did seize to amaze her how her mothers old obsession with Draco Malfoy dyed down, never did her mother say much of a sentence about him. When she did she would receive a cold look from her father.
It was quiet amusing actually, if they would ever argue, she'd hid around the corner and listen to her bickering parents. The things they argued over seemed to be little things and that way she knew her parents weren't going to get divorced anytime soon. She'd hate that, she'd probably go live with her father if they did, that way she'd be able to go do what she wants! The floor boards creaked under her weight while she walked past her brothers room, and she could swear he was snoring. Stopping for a moment, she spotted her mother coming up the stairs and immediately Tori rolled her eyes at her mother. "Don't look at me like that young lady! Now go get dressed, your coming to London with me and your little sister." The automatic reaction her mother got made Tori run to her room, and a small smile curled onto her delicate features as she began to get ready.
Sometimes she got on with her mother, other times she didn't. For one thing she would go to London with her mum, but she would ditch her at the first time she got. Looking through her wardrobe, she pulled out a pair of skinny jeans, and a white top. It was difficult putting skinny jeans on, but in the end she got them on. Slipping her white top over her head, she ruffled her hair before grabbing her black and white checkered scarf and wrapped it around her neck in a fashionable way. Fashion was very important for a girl, and so it took her a while getting ready. Running a brush through her hair she left it down and quickly shoved some hoop earing's through her ears before she put on her black leather jacket.
Looking around her bed room, she grabbed her bag and shoved everything she needed in it. Which wasn't much since she was a witch, but she did have her wand in there with some muggle money and wizard money, along with some make-up. Leaving her bedroom, she walked downstairs, to see her sister complaining about going out and she shook her head. Quickly she slipped on her ugg boots and leaned against the wall, waiting to leave. It was that moment her father walked in, and he didn't look happy. His cold eyes direceted toward Pansy, her mother, and Tori decided she wanted to leave now.
Making a fast walking pace she headed toward the fire place and stood inside it, before dropping the fluu powder and muttering London. There was a flash of green smoke and she found herself at the back of a shop. Leaving the shop, she entered the busy streets of London, and just went where ever her feet took her. Hearing the sound of music, she pushed through the crowd to see what they were doing, and it turned out they were listening to a boy playing his guitar on the street. "Probably begging for money." She muttered to herself, but a few people looked at her.
Half the time she didn't understand muggles, they would do all these weird things, and yes, it was pretty weird what they did! Folding her arms she watched as a few people carried on walking, and soon enough she got bored of the music, even though she was a music lover. Leaving the crowd she walked further down the road and sat on a brick wall. Watching as the people walked past, she heard her stomach rumble. Placing her hands on her stomach she sighed and shook her head.

Clothes: Here Coal finished his song, but he noticed the girl, he didn't know why, but she stuck out to him, she walked away some people watching her, she must have said something. He stood swinging his guitar over his shoulder and moving through the crowd he watched and then she stopped and sat on the brick wall. He didn't even hesitate he walked up to the wall himself and stared at her his hands on his hips with a smirk. "Coal Kendall." He offered his hand lightly.
He of course didn't expect her to know who he was, alot of muggles didn't which was odd, but very true, so he didn't expect much of a reaction or anything. though if she didn know she obviously didn't care, which kinda amused him. He sighed looking at the people disappear from where he had been. He turned back seeing her holding her stomach. She was probably hungry or something. "You hungry? I can take you somewhere if you like, just say the place an we'll go." Coal was being bit blunt and hasty, but hey we never said he was rational, no Coal is far from being rational. If she didn't come he might stand there a bit longer then leave her to herself, but till then he was quite content on asking her to get something with him, after all he could afford pretty much anything, not that she knew that, he would be sure to surprise her. It made him smile a bit at that idea.
She was quite a pretty girl, he was almost taken back by it. There was some kinda air about here, although slightly smug, it seemed to filter through every corner of the air, choking it until it submitted. Her eyes were especially pretty, he liked them quite alot.

Somethings that the muggles did seized to amaze her. Especially how they could build so many buildings without the aid of magic, didn't they get bored of building things with only the use of their hands and those machines? It was then she did realized that the crowd along the musician had disappeared, and Tori let out a smug smile. They probably got bored of his song and left him to sit on the step and sing to himself. Either that or they had no money to throw at him. Unfortunately her stomach continued to rumble as it growled angrily at her. Maybe it wasn't wise to have skipped breakfast, but she didn't fancy eating her breakfast while her parents fought over what ever they where fighting over.
Now she felt sorry for her little sister, she wasn't able to leave the house when things got tense, unlike her and her brother who could walk out when they pleased, and they didn't have to say where they were going and no one would come looking for them. She tried to imagine what would happen if her little sister left, for one thing she'd be extremely worried and would be the first one looking for the little bundle of trouble. All around it seemed like Tori wasn't the kindest person around, but when it came to her friends or family she would soften up and treat them how they wished to be treated by her. If you was a friend of the Nott family, you'd defiantly be surprised at how nice they could all be.
Then again, her brother was nice to everyone, but what would you expect, he was a gryffindor after all. Her all over views on Gryffindors often got her into a lot of fights with him, but at the end of the day they were brother and sister and some how both found a way to get along, which of course only happened at home. Never would Tori be caught dead talking to a gryffindor at school! It would ruin her reputation. Pulling at the bottom of her jacket she stared blankly at the floor.
In the corner of her eye she spotted someone stood near her, and she lifted her head up to see the boy who had once been playing the guitar on the step. Alright, so maybe he wasn't a boy, he looked a few years older than herself, but every male in her opinion was still a immature boy! Arching a eyebrow, she looked at his hand. Would she dare touch the hand of a muggle? No. She made it quite clear she wasn't going to shake his hand.
Instead she just looked over him, if he was a wizard she'd surely be flirting with him by now, but she wasn't going to do anything right now. Last thing she wanted was rumors going around about he flirting with a muggle. Although his name seemed to ring a bell, she sat there for a moment in thought, before remembering she hadn't said a word to him. "Oh, Victoria Nott." She stated coldly, it wasn't like she was going to let him call her Tori, even though she preferred it. Only her family and friends could call her Tori, unless she got to know him a bit better and decided he was worthy of calling her Tori.
Shaking her head she looked at the boy and once again cocked a eyebrow. Like he would have money to buy her something to eat, chuckling at the thought she looked at her shoes for a moment before back up at him. "No, it's fine, i'll just buy myself something to eat later." She answered, and felt that would make him go away, even though now she was slapping herself mentally because his name seemed so familiar to her, but how? She didn't know any muggles, not that she knew of anyway. It was so tempting for her to insult him, but why should she give a muggle the time of the day?
"Why are you talking to me?" It sounded extremely harsh, but she didn't understand why someone would just randomly come up to her and ask her to go having something to eat with them when she didn't even know them? Folding he arms she looked at him, suddenly she felt a hard hate feeling for this boy, but most people usually say you can't judge a book by its cover, but she didn't want to be all nice to a muggle and then get a earful when she got back to school by all her friends, it would be even worse if her mother showed up. Getting caught talking to a muggle by her mother would be really embarrassing, and she'd have no excuse for it!

Clothes: HereCoal dropped his hand running it through his hair and sighing deeply. Then he heard the name, bingo, he knew she was different. "Nice name." He replied, he didn't acknowledge that he knew her last name, no it could be a coincidence on his part, then he;d have to talk himself out of why he knew that and then there would be eve more problems. However he did notice her dislike of him, and he sighed deeply, this could mean only one thing for her to be that outwardly spiteful, she was undeniably a wizard, a pure blood at that. For Coal use to be just like her once a upon a time, when his family made sure he didn't embarrass them or made sure he didn't communicate with those who weren't like himself.
He sighed again for the fifth or so time biting his lower lip."fine fine, be that way." He took out his wallet from his back pocket flipping it open to, at least five twenty's, a fifty, and a excess of ones. "But at least let me give you something then." He was being difficult like usual, he never let people just get away with telling him off, and neither would this girl, not until he figured out who she really was , and if she was a actual Nott. He noticed then her clothes, and some white powder on her jacket, his eyes narrowed, could that be....
He needed to stop jumping to conclusions here, then her next question. "Never knew it was against the law to talk to someone" Coal answered lightly, and smirked. " You familiar with something called fluu powder?" This question was vague, it could have been mistaken for a drug, but any non-muggle would know what it was and he was hoping she'd get the message if she was a wizard, if not he'd come up with a lie. He wasn't half bad at lying either so it wouldn't be a problem. He looked up at her taking out a twenty and smirking again, his eyes waiting for a conformation.

Obviously he didn't get her hints for him to leave her be, but who would want to leave such a pretty girl like herself alone? He would regret leaving her in London on her own. Who wouldn't? A young sixteen year old could be considered a target on the busy streets of London, and there were a lot of odd men around these days waiting to find a young girl sat alone. Of course most of these men didn't know that there were a lot of witches around, and imagine getting on the end of someones wand. You'd never see day light again. Her mind seem to wandered a lot now and she wasn't one hundred percent sure why either. Tapping her thigh she once again peered up at the older boy and cocked a eyebrow at him.
Victoria was considered a nice name, posh too, but she personally hated it, hence why she begged most people to call her Tori rather than Victoria. The only time people called her Victoria was when they were mad with her or just wanted to wind her up, which was a really bad idea for some. It was hard to note whether one was a witch or not, but with her name, she was known around the school by most people as the bitch, which amused her deeply. Yes she was a bitch, but just not to everyone. Only the ones who weren't privileged enough to be placed in the house of slytherin. Explained a lot really.
Pushing a strand of dark hair behind her ear, she looked up at him and a sinister smirk spread across her lips. He did seem to sigh a lot, and it was begin to annoy her, even though most things did tend to get on her nerves. "I shall be that way." Speaking her mind before looking around at the other people who were walking quickly through the street, trying to get to work or wherever they wished to go. Immediately though she felt like a tourist, she did happen to live here, but she was a witch, she didn't fit in like the rest of the people did.
"I won't accept money from you," She spat before finishing her sentence, "I have money of my own." Of course she did, her father always gave her money, no matter what she said, but she'd never decline the offer of money, apart from someone she didn't know. Although it seemed he did have a lot of money, but she was bound to have more than him, but she wasn't going to brag about it!
It was then he asked her if she knew something about fluu powder, and she saw the white powder on her black leather jacket. Quickly she brushed it off and looked at him, nodding slightly, "I am indeed." Unless it was like a new name for a drug, but from her understanding it was how a wizard or witch got from place to place through a large fire place. That was right? Wasn't it? "Why do you ask?" She questioned, being a little bit nicer than before.
It was quite clear now that he wasn't a muggle but a wizard, and that eased her thoughts, so now she knew she wasn't talking to a muggle and if a family member did turn up, she could say he wasn't a muggle. Although there were a lot of blood status around, he could be a mud blood. She wouldn't know? She knew most of the pure bloods around here, or so she thought most were in Slytherin though. Blood status did mean a lot to her family, and it had grown on her and a lot of people told her that she did act like her mother, but had her fathers looks.
She was thankful that she had her fathers looks rather than her mothers, she'd hate to be called pug face junior or some cruel name like that, it wasn't necessary! Not a lot of people knew any cruel nicknames for her, thank god though! Even though she had a few mean nicknames up her sleeve for certain people. Pulling at the bottom of her black leather jacket she bit her bottom lip gently and smiled for a moment, before returning to a blank expression.

Clothes: HereCoal watched her, finding her, he didn't know what to think of her yet, she reminded him of his mother, if that made any sense, well maybe how his mom USE to be, crazy, rude, and perhaps didn't care if the world burned to the ground, but somehow he thought she couldn't be that bad.
He grinned, really grinned, the left side of his mouth pulling up. "You shall be." He did a mocking bow and turned on his heels with a laugh. He was mockingh er certainly, she was on a a high horse if there ever was one, he found it amusing actually, it was so just so funny. He liked her he found her a bit challenging, maybe someone who would put him to the test a bit.
Coal made a cocky smirk. "Young lady i am aware you most likely have money, but please if your going to turn me down, could you do it in a cuter way?" He copied her pert attitude to a ,t, and stuck out his tongue for good measure, he put his wallet back in his pocket and shrugged gently. He grinned when she brushed the powder from her shoulder. "then your truely a Nott." He put his guitar down by the wall and climbed up next to her with ease. "I ask because had I not you would have continued to give me the cold shoulder, although I have never even met a muggle who throws off Coal Kendall." He commented slyly and then gave her a wink, joking of course. He wasn't one to "flirt" with peolple, he was just himself, whether they liked him or not.

Tori did seem to find that most of the time his eyes were on her rather than looking around his surroundings. Although she couldn't complain, because lets be fair, who wouldn't want to look at her? Tori did think of herself as beautiful with soft long black hair and subtle blue eyes and just a perfect figure. Not to skinny nor to fat but smack bang in the middle and what was better, she was a good height too. A small smile fell to her lips as she thought about all the good things, obviously about herself and then for the first time she turned her attention to Coal.
Of course he was taller than herself and her did seem to have amazing blue eyes, just like hers and his hair looked soft enough to touch. Taking her eyes off him, she watch as the muggles made their way pass. Where would a muggle go? Well of course they had work and probably just walking around to enjoy to sun while it lasted, since London wasn't the best place when it came to sun. After observing the muggles, she looked back at Coal and cocked a eyebrow. How dare he mock a Nott?! He wouldn't get away with it, or so she thought. It would depend really on how nice she felt at that precious moment, and right now; she felt fine. She wasn't in the mood for anything! Trying to keep a straight face, she looked at him, but failed miserably. A crack of a smile appeared on her delicate features and she shook her head from side to side.
If he wanted her to turn him down in a cuter way, she would do it. Looking at the ground for a brief moment she peered up at him with her blue eyes and bit her bottom lip while smiling before she spoke, "I don't wish to take your money, but thank you." Her voice was soft and pure, then raising her head she looked at him and arched a eyebrow. "Was that cuter?" She said and smirked before looking away again. It wasn't every day you got a older guy talking to you, especially a handsome one. Coal was probably six years older than her, so she wasn't going to flirt with him much or anything. Well, that is what she planned for.
"Glad you know that i am a Nott." If you was from the wizardry world, you'd be aware of the Nott's, and it just so happened that Tori was labeled the meanest Nott so far. Of course she enjoyed being known by people for her sarcastic behavior and being rude to others, it was how she was! She watched as he placed his guitar down and sat on the wall next to her, and oddly she didn't seem to mind at all.
Turning her head she looked at him and cocked a eyebrow, she would give him the cold shoulder if he was a former gryffindor, hufflepuff or ravenclaw, maybe even a half blood. It all depended on her mood! Scoffing slightly she looked away from him and tapped her thigh for a moment, before looking at him once again. "I shall give you the cold shoulder if i do not approve of your presence." She stated honestly before looking away, and hopefully he would tell her what house he use to be part of, ad hopefully it was slytherin.
It all came down to his former house and blood type really, if he was a former gryffindor she'd tell him to leave her be or force him to leave her alone. Maybe she was quite prejudice, but after all she had her mothers personality and her fathers looks, or so people told her. Thank god she didn't look like her mother, otherwise she would have the nickname 'pug face junior' or something silly like that! She was quite happy with who she was actually, Victoria Nott. Although she hated her name. Why did her parents have to name her Victoria? On the other hand everyone called her Tori Nott, even some of the teachers!
