Sicily was in a hurry. She wanted to get to the meeting of the Order on time, but her work was making her late. Of course she didn't hate her work, Sicily really liked it, but this could be an important meeting. And Sicily hated missing important Order meetings. She was one of the more active members, and an active member should be present at all meetings. Her hair, currently in a ponytail, bounced up and down as she hurried towards the Apparation stations of the Ministry. If she kept this up, she could be early instead of late to the meeting. The thought perked her up and increased her speed slightly.
Two thirds of the way to the stations did something that would delay her entrance to the Order meeting. Sicily tripped because of a simple crack. Ugh, she thought as she dusted herself off once she got up. She then saw a strangely familiar face several yards away. But no matter how much she tried, Sicily couldn't remember. It was a women, but Sicily had a feeling she wasn't a Ministry official. "Excuse me, I hope not to bother or offend you, but are you lost?" she asked, trying to be helpful. At the same time she was still wondering who the hell the women was in the first place.
She knew she had seen that face somewhere. Perhaps a picture in the Daily Prophet? Yet no connection popped up. Why was her memory failing her? It usually didn't fail at all. She remembered all the info she learned in her work, what people told her, it was a rare occasion for Sicily Black to forget something. Maybe the women would mention it in her response. It would definitely clear things up in Sicily's suddenly failing memory.

looking fly in my fancy clothes (yeah they want to take my picture) Priscilla was having a good day. Although, most people in her position had a good day, because half the world threw themselves at your feet to make sure of it. For example, people tried their best to keep Priscilla happy, so that they could be happy too. Priscilla, it was safe to say, was a highly appreciated and well thought of woman, who was good with business, plans and power. She was good at handling the respect that came with bearing the name of Dalton, and even better at making plans to ensure that the Dalton name carried on. She'd recently helped organise two marriages for her eldest two children, Joshua Andrew Dalton and Bethany Priscilla Dalton. Joshua was to marry Jaslene Guinevere Malfoy, and she would take on the name of Dalton. Meanwhile, Bethany was going to marry Brandon Nott, and she would take on his last name. Bringing Jaslene into the family kept up the Dalton name, meaning that it didn't go down with the loss of Bethany. Meanwhile, both Bethany and Joshua would then have the chance to pass on the Dalton blood, and any children that Joshua had would of course keep the name of Dalton, meaning that it survived. Yes, this planning had taken her many days, because it was well thought out, and she made sure that it would work out well.
Priscilla herself had married because of an arranged marriage, and although at first she hated the idea, and literally ran away from it, she gave in and married Andrew Dalton, and soon enough they fell in love. She knew that this was rare, but she hoped at least that maybe her kids would give it a go, so that they had the chance ot fall in love with their spouses too. Joshua and Jaslene she had great hope for, but Bethany was a little more stubborn than Joshua, and she wouldn't give in so easily. It was in fact Joshua that she had come to see, because she'd heard from him that he was training to be an auror, and as she was visiting the ministry to make sure she was kept informed about various things in the wizarding world, she decided to drop in on her son and see how he was faring in the world of work. She had high hopes for him in this, as he was smart, and a good worker, as long as he kept himself dedicated and put the effort in. she was just making sure that he was paying attention. She also hoped that soon he could come and join her and her husband as members of the Nex Domino, because he would make an excellent member with his keen mind. She just hoped that he would realise that the Nex was the right choice, but she had taught him well, or at least his tutors had, and he was surely smart enough to understand that to side with anyone else was just wrong.
Priscilla's hair was down around her shoulders, hanging in the curls that she favoured as her hairstyle, and the dress she had on was a nice one, fitting her shape perfectly. Her heels gave her a little bit more height, and her make up was excellent, of course. Her heels clicked on the marble floor as she apparated in, and she turned around, looking around for a moment in the hope that finding Joshua would be easy. She also heard that Brandon worked here, so maybe she would stop in and see her soon to be son in law, and ask how it was going between himself and Bethany. She knew she shouldn't hope for too much, it was clear that Bethany would take a while to come around. At least she had not lost her spirit. She heard an overly helpful voice and sighed, turning around on her heels and sizing up the person that asked her such a silly question. "I'm Priscilla Dalton, I don't get lost, and neither do I need a tour guide. I just want my son"
she answered impatiently, tapping her foot on the marble floor, making a slightly repetitive and agitating clicking noise. Her eyes scanned this girls face and clothes. Who was she, and why did she think that she could get away with speaking to Priscilla with no good reason? Priscilla didn't have time to waste, she was a very busy woman, and she had to be back at the tea shop soon, to make sure that the new silly waitress didn't blow it up.[/blockquote] T A G G I N G sicily black!? It was quite hard to not looked shocked at Priscilla Dalton's rude response. The worst part, Sicily knew Dalton was in the New Domino. One of the members had showed her a picture. And Sicily hated the Nex Domino and it's members. Inwardly, Sicily swore very badly, but that was inwardly. Outwardly, she raised an eyebrow. "And who may your son be? I would probably know where he is." Her tone was considerably colder and less friendly than when she had asked if she was lost and her face didn't look so kind as it once was either. "Oh, Sicily Black, by the way. I figured you should know since after all you ever so kindly introduced yourself." 'Kindly' wasn't the correct word, rudely and quickly were more accurate, but if Dalton was going to be rude then Sicily was not going to be her house-elf. The only reason why she would lead Dalton to her son was to get her out of Sicily's way and Sicily's life. Hopefully Sicily would never see Dalton's face ever again. As Dalton scanned her face and clothes, Sicily remembered her appearance. Lots of people had told her she inherited the Black beauty and her grandfather Sirius Black's looks except for the fact like her mother she tanned easily and the fact her eyes were the same shape and color. The color of the ocean in a Hawaiian postcard, as many people described it. Her clothes were quite... plain and ordinary... you could say. But probably to someone as rich as Dalton it would look like Sicily made no money and wore rags. This wasn't accurate. Sicily dressed for comfort, not style. She was wearing plain black robes that were very comfy. Underneath was jogging pants and a t-shirt. Sure, it wasn't work clothes, but Sicily decided to take a break from her preppy style. Dalton was making a very annoying ticking noise. Sicily resisted the urge and temptation to silence her with a nice kick in the shin. But it would only make her scream in pain, and that would definitely not be the definition of silence. Of course a nice silencing charm would do it, but Dalton's attitude made her feel like she wanted to be more violent than usual. Calm down, she thought, violence won't get Dalton out of your way.Word Count: IDK, where's the word counter box when you need it? looking fly in my fancy clothes (yeah they want to take my picture) She looked shocked. That was the first thing Priscilla noticed, and she smirked, raising her eyebrows. Well, it clearly didn't take a lot to shock this little girl, if only she knew half of the things that Priscilla had, she would probably have a fit! "I am perfectly capable of finding him myself, thank you very much."
She sighed. rolling her eyes. She was Priscilla Ava Dalton, wife of Andrew Dalton, mother of Bethany, Joshua, Gareth and Isabella. There was no limit to what this woman could do. If she wanted to, she could own the moon. She'd successfully helped to arrange two marriages, of course she played a bigger part in Bethany's but that wasn't the point, she was sure that it would be just as successful as Jaslene and Joshua's would turn out to be. She had yet to formally meet Jaslene and the rest of the Malfoy family. Of course she knew the Malfoy's, but she'd not gone to their house as customary to meet with him and his family, and celebrate the up and coming marriage. Surely she would arrange that soon, as he had not taken any steps to contact the Dalton's, and that was very odd, although she had heard that he had kind of lost his head. Shame really, Draco always had a good mind, and sure he could do a lot better than losing that because of losing his wife. He should get over it and move on, it wasn't the only thing in his life, and he had responsibilities. She would go home and pick out an outfit later, and if he did not contact them by the end of the week she would write to him asking for some sort of meeting. "I don't care." she replied simply. Black? seriously? that had caught Priscilla off guard. She didn't think that any Black's had survived. Hadn't they died out when Sirius did? He never had any children, or so she thought, not that they would have any claim to the black fortune if he did because Sirius Black had been disowned. As he should have been, filthy blood traitor, choosing his silly friends over his family and inheritance. He'd lost all pride for the name it seemed, and that was pathetic, as the name of Black used to be unsullied and of high standing, and then Sirius had been disowned and Regulus was missing, and it seemed that they no longer had someone to provide an heir to the name, which was a shame really, because if Regulus had a child, surely it would have been a proud child, in high standing who was aware of the significance of their last name. And had he had a son there was another person to pass on the Black name, but no, he'd gone missing and no doubt was killed. She didn't know much of it really, just rumours mostly, and most were said by word of mouth, and she knew about Chinese whispers so it wasn't as if she could be sure it was all true. She was tempted to ask now, who was the descendant? "Your last name, whom did you inherit it from?" she half demanded to know. If it were Sirius she would inform the girl that she did not deserve that name and it's use, because her grandfather was a traitor, and a disowned one at that, so he shouldn't have been allowed to pass the name on, so to speak.
