m o s t o f i t r e a l l y w a s f o r t h e h e l l o f t h e f u n ON THE CAROUSEL SO AROUND I SPUN -- -- -- -- -- -- Tugging on her heels that morning, Amelia had wondered at first whether the shoes were a good choice, but she was only short otherwise and 5' 3, and so decided that she'd not walk around like a midget today, and feel quite a bit taller. She was heading to diagon alley via floo powder, yey, because she was going to the owl emporium in the alley to get herself an owl, considering that she was sick of using the school ones to mail everyone. Everyone of course being her family, because as it stood, she didn't really have many muggle friends that communicated using owls. That was sarcasm back there. She didn't have any wizard or witch friends back home really, but that was because it wasn't like Cardiff had a huge wizarding community. Amelia wasn't too good on her feet as in, walking in heels, but as soon as she got on the broom, all that clumsiness went away, and she was just as good a flier as any. her parents weren't exactly rich though, so she didn't have an expensive broom. instead, she had a new clean sweep model, that couldn't really be counted as new unless you went back three years. then it had been new, but it was her parents way of bigging up the broom so she felt better about it.
Amelia called goodbye to her parents, as her muggle dad didn’t like Diagon Alley, and her mother was busy cleaning the house, and Amy knew not to get in the way of her when that was happening, let me tell you! She’d be all over the place, taking the muggle route with a manual hoover. Her mother in law had bought her a Dyson as a wedding present, how nice, Amelia would have proffered that it had been something to do with cooking, like a chocolate cake cook book, or something as equally as nice as that, and therefore Amelia could enjoy the results of that too. Her mother was usually a dab hand at cooking, but she tended to do it less and less now because, for some amazing reason, she said that she didn’t have time. Amelia scoffed at her, as her mother had only a part time job, working no more than three days a week as a cleaner in st Mungo’s. Her dad meanwhile worked for a nice muggle company, dealing with computers or something, so Amelia found herself knowing some of the ins and outs of muggle technology. That was the only nerdy thing that she had about her really, and as a Ravenclaw, that was something highly unheard of.
Ravenclaws were the nerds of the school, and so she was expected to be some sort of super genius, but she wasn’t at all. In fact, just looking at a hugely big book made her feel sleepy, and she’d much rather use it as a paperweight rather than an a way to pass the time. Heading for her fireplace, Amy scattered the dust, stepped in and spoke loudly. “Diagon Alley”
and the green flames engulfed her, sending her spinning. Gah she felt dizzy. After a nice trip down the floo network, Amelia brushed off the dust and stepped out of the fireplace, making sure her outfit wasn't spoiled. as she walked out of the pub, she wandered down the road and stopped in the window of the broom store. well, not literally the window obviously because that would be uncomfortable, but she stopped in front of it, eyeing some broom that was in the window, some new firebolt series or something she assumed. she heaved a sigh and admired the shape of it. that was when she heard someone approach her, and she turned around[/blockquote] -- -- -- -- -- --

Okay, lil momma had a swag like mine Even wear her hair down her back like mine I make her feel right when its wrong like lyin' David sat up in his bed and rubbed his eyes he looked at the clock on the wall and mumbled something about polar bears then fell back to sleep, about an hour later though he actually got up. Climbing out of bed he grabbed whatever clothes he was going to wear and wondered out of his room and towards his bathroom. About another hour later and he was checking himself out in the mirror, he was wearing clothes that his father would call girl clothes but he liked them. He turned around to look at his butt and winked at himself "Shmokin'" he said with a chuckle then headed downstairs to get something to eat.
Yet another hour passes and he is finally all geared up, fed and washed and ready to go to Diagon alley, he wasnt sure why he was going there, something to do apart from sit at home reading books a lot. He'd got some money in his pocket and was ready to go. Standing in his chimney place he took a hand full of floo powder and had to mentally remind himself not to say bam when he drops it because that had once made him end up in some poor woman's house rather unexpectedly.. luckily she let him use some floo powder to get home so it was all good. "Diagon Alley!" he said then closed his eyes as he wasnt too keen on floo powder travel, he didnt mind it he just couldnt do it with his eyes open for some reason.
David opened his eyes and surveyed his surroundings then he walked out of the pub and into the street of Diagon Alley. My kinda place he said looking down the street at all the people doing there own thing. Well i best get strolling he thought to himself wondering down the road wondering where he'd go and what he'd do. He knew exactly where he wanted to go first though, where every Quidditch obsessed person went. To Quality Quidditch Supplies!! David strolled on down over there and noticed Amelia, she was a ravenclaw who was also on the team, she was kinda cute but David didnt stand a chance so he wasnt even going to try he'd just be himself. He approached her and she turned around to face him. "Hey there beautiful" he said with a smile as if he was talking to Amelia then he walked straight past her and began admiring the broomstick in the window display. Man she ain' never had a love like mine. Wearing: Outfit Comment: i am Lyrics: Lollipop - Lil Wayne ft. Static Credit: Me

m o s t o f i t r e a l l y w a s f o r t h e h e l l o f t h e f u n ON THE CAROUSEL SO AROUND I SPUN -- -- -- -- -- -- Amelia couldn't remember what she'd dreamt about, but she was sure it had something to do with the beach. Yes, that was it. She was walking along the cliff edge, the grass was cool beneath her bare feet, and the sea was crashing against the rocks at the bottom of the large drop. She could hear it, and the hollow echo too, as the water slipped into some sort of cave at the bottom of the cliff. She didn't know where she was. She was scared. And., no. It was gone. The dream slipped away again as quick as it came. Maybe she'd remember more later. She hated not knowing all of the dream, it would really annoy her if she could pick out bits and not place them. A dog. A dog, and a man walking with it. These details were surely supplied by her subconscious to tease and annoy her, as if saying 'haha yeah, your dream's right there, you just cant get to it! Here, have a little look, you know you want too, and now you want to know more but you can't so HA!' Merlin, Amelia had some strange thoughts sometimes. She knew it wasn't possible for her subconscious to pick and choose information to inject into her conscious, and it certainly wasn't possible for it to tease her. She sounded crazy, but she was a bit odd like that. She didn't really fit in Ravenclaws, and was still sure that the hat maybe sorted her into the wrong house.
Typical Ravenclaws were smart, love reading, enjoy lessons and be top of the class, because they love to learn, and that was their thing. Amelia loved to learn to of course, but in a different way to them. Amelia preferred to learn from experience. For example, she didn't know that some men could be so callous and not care about someone’s feelings until she went camping with one of the most unfeeling boys that she'd ever met. He didn't count as a man, because he needed to grow a pair and stop agreeing to whatever his friends said. Of course, he did actually have a pair, and Amelia had learned that too, but we won't go there quite yet. You see, Amelia quite liked to keep her, hm, activities of that night, quite quiet, so no one knew about it at Hogwarts. In fact, the only people that she knew that knew about it were the ones on the camping trip back at her muggle home. It never made it back to her parents thank goodness, and they still thought that she was physically innocent, but they didn't know the truth. Amelia, in truth, had been stupid. No, Amelia had been very stupid. Amelia had been unprotected and stupid. Luckily enough, she didn't get anything, and she was also lucky that she didn't get a baby either. the small crowd around her moved, and some guy brushed against her side, pulling her back to reality.
Amelia looked at the random stranger, and then stepped away slightly. It was then that her eyes pulled back to the new person she'd heard. Quality Quidditch Supplies was the place to go for the avid Quidditch fan, so it didn't surprise her to see the Ravenclaw seeker heading toward the window, and, technically, her. She wasn't going to lie and say she'd never looked before, because she had. in fact, she'd looked more than once, and she had to admit that he had this thing about him, especially when he was flying, that he looked so graceful. She had to admit that she did envy him, because she couldn't pull graceful off as well. She was clumsy when walking, and although as soon as she was on the broom she was better, she just wasn't as graceful as David and the rest of the team managed to be. They'd not really spoken apart from the few odd words at practice, and an occasional, 'can you pass the pumpkin juice please' at breakfast. Wait, was he calling her beautiful? Of course not. She shook her head slightly and laughed a little. "isn't it amazing? The shape is just, well, perfect. Enough so that you could gain more speed, but at the same time, great that the balance is even."
She said with a smile, turning back to the frame and eyeing the sleek wooden design. She would love that broom like it was her child. [/blockquote] -- -- -- -- -- --

Okay, lil momma had a swag like mine Even wear her hair down her back like mine I make her feel right when its wrong like lyin' David looked at the broomstick through the window his hands pressed up against the glass. "It's amazing" David replied simply, he had a fairly basic broom, it wasnt the best model but he didnt need the best and newest broom he had pure skill on his side. His thin body was fairly aerodynamic plus he had a great reaction time so as soon as a Snitch turned he was ready to turn straight after it instead of other Seekers that tended to have a delay. He loved Quidditch it was like his favourite thing to do next to chilling with friends.
David took a step back and looked over Amelia. She was cute and had a nice body, there were lots of girls who had stunning bodies at Hogwarts and it was highly distracting and she was just another unobtainable girl put in front of him simply to tease his teenage hormones. "I'm going inside.. your welcome to join me" He said with a smile his eyes going back up her body to her face. He then smiled and walked into the shop admiring the broom from the other side. It was a beautiful model but he would never have the money to buy something like that he'd just stick with his own broom.
He then wondered away to examine the quidditch teams of the uk's kits. He was thinking of getting one but he didnt see the point. Why would he want to dress up like someone in a quidditch team, he was in one, the Ravenclaw one and maybe when he grew up he'd be a professional... but that was going to be some time yet. He let out a rather large yawn and rubbed his eyes. I could use a coffee eh thought to himself but coffee made him hyper and his hyperness was mad. Man she ain' never had a love like mine. m o s t o f i t r e a l l y w a s f o r t h e h e l l o f t h e f u n ON THE CAROUSEL SO AROUND I SPUN -- -- -- -- -- -- Amelia closed the gap between herself and the glass, leaning her head against it and sighing. She would love to own that broom, to control it and fly it and care for each flipping little twig if the need be. But thanks to her lack of funding, that was not going to happen. It was okay though, the broom she had was good enough, and it served her fantastically well, and she knew in the end that it wasn't just the broom anyway, it came down to the skill of the player, and although she was really pretty good, she always doubted her ability. As she stepped away from the window she caught the last remaining looks of David's eyes, and her cheeks tinged slightly. “see something you like?“
she asked, raising her eyebrows at him. He could at least try and be less conspicuous. She honestly found it hard sometimes for guys to see any attraction in her. She was pretty enough, but there were more beautiful girls out in the castle surely? Anyway, yes, so when guys did check her out and she saw, it kind of caught her off guard, and made her blush slightly. If this was what she was like after someone checking her out, you couldn't believe her at the camping site, she was a red mess. But then, that had been kind of cute too. His eyes met hers and she smiled at what he said. She would go in to look, but knew that the chances of her buying anything were slim to none, thanks to a bare money tree. "Yeah, I'll be in, just one second" Amelia said, admiring the broom one last time. Once her blush was gone, she headed inside the shop and took a look around at some of the things they had on sale. The broomstick care kit that she was eyeing was way to expensive for what she was carrying, besides, she was to get an owl, not a broom or a broomstick care kit either. wandering over to where David was, she saw him yawn and it passed to him, so she let out a yawn too, covering her mouth with her hand as she did so. Amy fancied ice cream. Hmm. “I don’t get this, I mean, uh, I don’t see the fascination with buying replica team stuff. Surely you would prefer actual team stuff, like, from being on a team?“ she pointed out, knowing she’d prefer her quidditch kit to any replica. As for the ice cream parlour idea, she didn't want to go alone, that would be boring, and she'd spend the whole time looking around at the other people having fun, as if adding insult to injury. "Hey, David, right? Did you want to come and get some ice cream or something with me? Truth is, I'd be grateful for the company" she said with a smile. She wasn't picking him because it was the most convenient, or because he was the only one around, but he seemed like a really nice bloke, with nice hair too. And his voice was nice, Kind of soothing. Amy was thinking that there was an ice cream bar somewhere in the alley, she’d seen it before, so she had to go and try the ice cream there. She’d love to have vanilla with chocolate sauce and toffee sprinkles. That sounded lovely! She’d have enough money to buy her bird too, and get some more floo powder so she could get home. Fantastic, as the floo powder they had was running low. They kept it in some little plastic and see-through container in the living room on the fireplace. Although of course if her muggle family came around they’d have to hide the floo powder, because obviously they didn’t know about the magical world, and would probably start to think it’s sherbet or something, and that wouldn’t be good. Although, who keeps sherbet on their mantelpiece in Cardiff? [/blockquote] -- -- -- -- -- --

Okay, lil momma had a swag like mine Even wear her hair down her back like mine I make her feel right when its wrong like lyin' David was a typical boy he had the same feelings as other guys and heck even girls checked other people out. When she caught him though he tried to play it cool. "Maybe" he said with a wink then felt weird so laughed and lied "I was just admiring your dress.. its nice" David could lie fairly easily because people saw him as a goody two shoes it was easy to fool people.
"Ok" David said before he went in. He stood there looking at all the kits and hadn't even notice her enter the store untill she spoke. "Huh? oh yeah replica stuff is cool to show your support but its not my thing, i dont tend to go to many matches anyway" David admitted, it wasnt that he didnt want to go to that but his family couldnt afford it, he wasnt from some rich family. "Sure i love ice cream" David said with a grin, he did like ice cream and its not like he had anything better to do with his time. "So if you want to lead the way I'll follow" he said with a nod, he was wondering what he would order, he'd probably have a toffee flavoured ice cream with toffee chunks and toffee sauce as he had an epic craving for toffee for some reason. Man she ain' never had a love like mine. Wearing: Outfit Comment: i am Lyrics: Lollipop - Lil Wayne ft. Static Credit: Me

m o s t o f i t r e a l l y w a s f o r t h e h e l l o f t h e f u n ON THE CAROUSEL SO AROUND I SPUN -- -- -- -- -- -- Amelia knew what boys were like with their hormones, and trust me, girls were often just as bad. She'd often looked at a few guys, but she'd do it so that they wouldn't notice, she could never just look them up and down just like he'd done then. Sure, Amelia wasn't shy about sex, she had no reason to be because she wasn't a virgin, she was just a little more conservative about it considering her only experience was a bad one, and no one really knew about it, or at least not at Hogwarts. Not that it mattered much, she was just embarrassed that she was a Ravenclaw, who was meant to be smart, and was stupid enough to get cheated out of her virginity for a bet. Whatever, anyway, yeah so she expected nothing more really from men, although there were a few that didn't seem so bad. Maybe she'd gotten the wrong end of the stick. wow. her mind was in the gutter today. Back to topic. David. "well, uh, maybe, yeah."
Amelia replied, failing completely. What the heck was she meant to say to that. She giggled as he winked, and then heard his comment about the dress. "Thanks, it's not the nicest one I've got, but then I don't care much for how I dress anyway, I go with what I fancy" she replied with a shrug, brushing it down out of habit. "I don't even get that, I think that to show support, maybe banners are better or something, and they're cheaper" she added in, eyeing the clothes in front of her, that were replicated clothing of famous Quidditch teams. she wouldn't buy them, they were too expensive, and it wasn't like she got to go to see them anyway, she didn't have much money for one, and the second reason being that her dad was a muggle, and her mom practically was one because she was all into muggle stuff, and although Amelia knew there was nothing wrong with that, believe her on that one, she used muggle technology too, but her mother wasn't a big Quidditch fan, and seeing as they usually used anti muggle spells, her dad wouldn't be able to watch it anyway, regardless of whether he liked football better or not. and what a silly sport that was. the only time she watched it was when Cardiff Bluebirds were playing. "You don't get to go to many matches either? It sucks, right? I mean, I'd love to be able to go to a Quidditch World cup one day, but I doubt it'll ever happen" she said with a sigh. When he said yes to the ice cream, she perked up and smiled again. "Fantastic! I love ice cream too! all the flavours are amazing!" she said with a grin. she nodded at what he'd said, and started to head out of the door. "my mom always used to get me ice cream here when we came when we were little, this place has the best ice cream I've ever tasted. The toffee chunks are the best around." she said with a grin, throwing a smile over her shoulder at him. It didn't take them long to get out of the store and into the street, and she knew that the parlour was no more than a five minute walk. [/blockquote] -- -- -- -- -- --

Okay, lil momma had a swag like mine Even wear her hair down her back like mine I make her feel right when its wrong like lyin' David laughed slightly as she reacted to him saying maybe, he thought he had managed to pull off his excuse with skill. "Well if that's not the nicest one you have i'd love to see the nicest one sometime" David said with a smile, he could appreciate clothes as much as any girl. He liked to look good, ok some times he just couldn't be bothered but he knew what looked good on what people. He wasnt that into fashion as he tended to wear whatever he felt like throwing on but nobody had ever insulted his fashion sense except some guys who thought what he was wearing was girly but oh well no girls had complained so obviously that was a bad thing.
"Yeah" David said with a shrug, he didnt know how people showed there support he'd only ever realy seen pictures of professional matches but the audience were always in the background far away or not in the picture at all. The only sport David was into was quidditch though, all other sports he either was terrible at or they just didnt amuse him much. "Im deffinetly going one day" David said, he knew one hundred percent he was going to go to the quidditch world cup one day, it was a definite.
"Cool.. i have a strange craving for toffee so that's perfect" David said with a nod, it was amazing that she'd mentioned the thing he was craving.. amazing and kind of odd and weird. If she can read minds then.. you have a nice ass David thought watching her face after a moment of it not blushing Test done she can not read minds he thought to himself then asked "How much will the ice creams be?" he wanted to know how much money he'd be left with because he was fairly sure he'd have enough for the ice cream and he should have a bit left over. Man she ain' never had a love like mine. Wearing: Outfit Comment: rawr Lyrics: Lollipop - Lil Wayne ft. Static Credit: Me

m o s t o f i t r e a l l y w a s f o r t h e h e l l o f t h e f u n ON THE CAROUSEL SO AROUND I SPUN -- -- -- -- -- -- Her reaction to his maybe hadn't been the most coherent reaction she'd ever managed to muster, but at least she said something that sounded like words, and not something that sounded like a pregnant seal at orgasm. What an odd comparison. Anyway, yes, this dress she was wearing wasn't the nicest one she had, because actually, Amelia quite liked dresses, and as long as she wasn't flying, she'd often dress in dresses. Her other outfits were usually jeans and a top of some sort, but dresses in the summer were always lovely, and kept her cool, and as summer was slowly dying away and bringing autumn to them, it was still acceptable to wear a dress and not be too cold, which was great, because over half of Amelia's wardrobe were various dresses that she'd liked and bought for the summer. Looking good was important, sure, after all, she wasn't going to go out looking a mess because she'd get stared at or laughed at, and it wouldn't be good for her confidence, but more importantly, Amelia just wanted something that made her feel good, that she could be comfortable and herself in, and that was what all her clothes did. They suited her mood and made her feel good, and this current dress was light, happy and summery, like her mood. And it was nice and cool. "Well, we'll have to see if we can arrange that"
she said back with a smile. Maybe there would be some sort of ball when they went back or something, like the one they had at Christmas, although Amelia knew that Mrs Malfoy was the one to fix all of that up. As far as she knew, Mrs Malfoy had gone, so there was no one left to sort that, unless the other teachers did it. Maybe she could put a word in as a suggestion to the prefects or something, because everyone would love a lift like that, no doubt. She was sure that she could find a nice dress out of her collection for it, and then David could see one of the more thought out of her outfits. "I mean I'm not being funny or anything, but I would rather just buy a banner, it's not only cheaper, but you could hide it easier if the team you were supporting lost" she joked, knowing that should you also become suddenly surrounded by angry fans of the team who your team beat, it would be much easier to like, shove a banner down your bra or something, than walk around in your underwear, because there wasn't much else you could do if they looked menacing and mad. She'd prefer the banner. And you could bewitch it to wave itself, as long as you were over the legal age of course, because as we are all aware, doing so under that age would mean a nice big hearing in court where they could possibly decide to expel you from Hogwarts, and no one wanted that. Amelia loved Hogwarts, that was her home, it was just Ravenclaw that she felt a bit out of place in. Everyone was smart, and a lot of them always had their head in a book, and she just wasn't that type of person. Sure, she liked to read, but not all the time, and not school books. Especially those ones that weighed a literal ton. Get it? Literal? Literature? Anyway, that was one of the reasons she'd joined the Ravenclaw team, because she thought it would help her with making more friends, and it had worked a little, at least she felt like she had people in her house she could talk to now. But a few of them, like David, hadn't really talked to her much outside of practice, so it was nice for him to be chatting now. Amelia wanted to go one day, and she would, as long as she'd had her own job so she could pay for it. She'd take a tent, and if she couldn't rally up some sort of group of people, she'd go alone, because it was the one sport that she really did follow. The only other one that came remotely close was football, but that was only when the bluebirds were playing, and that came nothing close to how awesome Quidditch was. "i'd love to go, and maybe one day, when I've got a tidy job and all that sorted, I'll be able to. It would be awesome, with all those new people I could meet, and the enthusiasm of everyone, I can practically imagine it" She said with a grin, closing her eyes for a second and allowing herself to be engulfed by her mental image. She was high up in the stands, in some of the best seats. No, she had her own box, and there were people everywhere, strangers she'd invited into her box, and they were all cheering and the atmosphere was phenomenal. she'd love to go. Imagine if one day she made some sort of team though, and instead was out on that pitch. No, she wasn't nearly good enough. Amelia had already decided her order of vanilla ice cream and chocolate sauce with toffee sprinkles. Even the sound of it had made her mouth water. She couldn't wait to get there now, and was practically skipping at the idea. Ice cream was one of her favourite foods, and she especially loved the more properly made ice cream that they made around here. It always tasted so much better than the ones you'd buy in tubs. "ohh yes, tell me about it, my plan is vanilla ice cream, with chocolate sauce and toffee sprinkles. I call them sprinkles, they're more like chunks actually, and they're proper toffee, so the taste is much better than anything that muggles in factories can make" She said with a grin. Was it her, or was he watching her face? She watched him out of the corner of her eye, wondering what it was he was looking for. Did she have something on her face? Was it toothpaste? It had to be toothpaste. "Do I have toothpaste on my face?" She asked with a sigh, her hand going to her mouth, trying to pick a place where the toothpaste could be. She must look like such an idiot. She was always doing that though, getting toothpaste on her lip, but her mother usually told her about it before she went anywhere. "I don't know, I'm thinking it'll only be a few sickles, but I asked you so it's on me anyway" she said with a smile. She was sure she could afford that at least, because she had asked him, and if she hadn't, he'd be a few sickles better off. They arrived quickly enough outside the ice cream parlour, and she smiled at the tables with the umbrellas outside. That was a nice touch. She pushed the door open, walked in, and held it for David, so he could come in too. Her eyes scanned the queue as she stepped into it, noting that there were only one or two people in it. "Thanks for coming here with me David, I'd feel like a right idiot if I had to sit there on my own, talk about uncomfortable" she said with a smile. She'd have spent the whole time getting stared at as she'd be looking at the wall. It was then that she felt the need to sneeze. She quickly pulled a tissue out of her bag and covered her nose with it, sneezing around three times. "Bless me" she said to herself really, with a smile, throwing the tissue into a nearby bin. Better safe than sorry. [/blockquote] -- -- -- -- -- --

Okay, lil momma had a swag like mine Even wear her hair down her back like mine I make her feel right when its wrong like lyin' David smiled "I look forward to it" he told her but honestly he was just grateful he had managed to pull of a great cover, instead of getting caught which would have been embarrassing.. who checks out there friends without it being awkward and embarrassing if they get caught anyway David thought, he knew guys checked out pretty much every girl they saw, even the not so good looking ones, it was more to actually know what the girl looks like for David then admiring there body but if they did have a nice body then that was just like.. well an added thing.
"Who buys banners? just make your own" David said raising an eyebrow, making your own was way more cheaper and you put heart in it so it was more personalized and it would be different because if you bought one the chances are there are other people who have also bought the same banner and if you end up sitting near one of those people you'll look like a fool. "Well maybe one day we'll be in the Quidditch world cup" David said, it was deffinetly one of his dreams, he wasnt too sure whether he wanted to be a seeker or go and work with Dragons.. he did love dragons it was his favourite creature ever and he was fairly sure he wanted to see one in real life one day. I think its only a matter of time before we learn how to train them and use them to take us to and from places and they would be great to use for the ministry and they would strike fear in criminals hearts and everything.
"Well I'm just going to have toffee everything" David said with a nod he looked forward to sinking his teeth into his ice cream.. it would probably sting a little because its cold but whatever as long as he doesn't get brain freeze he'll be fine. "no.. i was seeing if you could read minds" David said honestly then scratched the back of his neck. "On the bright side you cant" he said it would be cool having a friend that could read peoples minds but he wouldnt feel comfortable around them, he'd have to keep thinking about walls or something stupid which would make it hard to speak. "No way im paying.. for me at least" David said, to be honest he didnt like people buying him stuff, he felt guilty but on the other side of that argument he didnt exactly like buying other people stuff. David followed her into the shop. "Yeah.. you would look weird just sitting there on your own" Man she ain' never had a love like mine. m o s t o f i t r e a l l y w a s f o r t h e h e l l o f t h e f u n ON THE CAROUSEL SO AROUND I SPUN -- -- -- -- -- -- Why did he look forward to seeing her best dress though? It wasn't like, well, like he knew her really well. Sure, they were in the same house and all that but it wasn't like they were close. But then did they have to be close for him to want to see her in her best dress? Oh. Not just her best dress, her in her best dress. Really? Her face flushed slightly as she seemed to work it out. "Well, I hope you wont be disappointed, I mean the dress is nice, but I think it's one of those ones that look better on the hanger"
she joked, not knowing what she could really say to that without making it awkward. She hated dresses like that because she'd fall in love with it, and then when it was on, well, it just wasn't as nice. She'd bought this one anyway, because it looked good, just not as good as it should have. She wasn't the most confident girl in Hogwarts, and although she liked her body, she just didn't think anyone else did really, and yeah, she just was a bit self conscious sometimes. She didn't care at others, and although she didn't care so much about her choice of outfit, that was usually because whatever she did pick looked passable, and so she cared little about that, it was mainly just how she come across to people that she worried about. Amelia nodded. He had a good point there. See, she didn't think about it much because it wasn't like she got to go to many games anyway, so she didn't have to think about banners. That was kind of a depressing thought. She had to try and go to some games. She couldn't wait till she could work so she could pay for it. Maybe she could go along with David, that could be fun. And weird. They technically had only just started really talking to each other. Just. shut up. Yeah. "good point, I mean, I suppose it would save money and would mean that your sign would be original. But they'd never look as good as the proper ones if I did them" she said with a shrug. She was no good at that sort of thing, making signs, they would come out a bit more, well, childish and messy more than likely. She would love to have a chance at playing in the Quidditch cup, but she knew that she just wasn't good enough for it. "You will, your awesome. I can come and watch you though" she joked, knowing that by the time that happened she should at least have a job to pay for tickets and such to go. She'd need a tent or something too. Ah, she disliked camping, not fun, but so worth it. "Well that sounds lush, but I've got an epic craving for chocolate sauce too so my orders sticking I think. Although I'm slightly torn" Amy said with a small laugh. She was the type of person who heard someone talking about something and then she wanted it. Maybe she'd ask for some extra toffee or something, but the chocolate sauce was staying. She loved chocolate sauce, it was the best thing to ever put on ice cream. Okay, no, strawberries were the best thing to put on ice cream, but if you could have a mix of both, you could dip the strawberries into the chocolate sauce before it hardened, and it would be amazing. Yes, she took great pleasure from her food. here were a few people in the queue ahead of them, but nothing major, it wouldn't take five minutes before it was their turn to order. Mind reading? Was he serious? Amelia raised her eyebrows, confused. Right. okay then. "Dare I ask?" she asked, watching him with an amused smile on her lips. Well that was random. "Brightside? Why the brightside? what were you thinking that was so bad?" she asked pointlessly, as if it was so bad that he didn't want her to read his mind, why would he tell her openly? Strange. But it would bug her now that she didn't know. "David. I want to buy you an ice cream." she said, rolling her eyes. Why couldn't guys just accept it and move on? "Yeah I know, and worse, I could have any old weirdo come over and try chatting to me." she said, imagining some random thirty year old pervert. ew. It wouldn't surprise her, it had nearly happened before. [/blockquote] -- -- -- -- -- --
